Sabaton have released the album 'The War To End All Wars' since The Great War plus 3 ep's. So there are plenty of newer songs you havent covered yet (all with history episodes).
Well, if I would introduce someone to Sabaton, not sure I would pick this. (No offence) I should go with 'En livstid i krig' live from the Great Tour, (dont forget the subtitles), or for epicness 'Christmas Truce' official music video. For a cover, 1916, a really good version of Lemmys song. And finally, dont forget the animated story videos. 'No bullets fly' is an absolute must see... I think your wife will appreciate that one. Good reaction anyway. Me like!
You should give your wife a better taste of Sabaton, as good as this is Its not a typical Sabaton Sound. Suggestions, En Livstid I Krig ( A life time of war) The Swedish version and turn on the english subtitles. Soo good, brings a tear to your eye!
En Livstid i Krig is a great song no doubt, but I have no idea what you're talking about with 82nd All The Way not being representative of Sabaton. It's a perfect example of the faster songs on their later albums. They have slower and heavier songs too, obviously, but this is most definitely a good example of what Sabaton sounds like.
@@HistoryBuff I expected you to acknowledge that but I thought you would actually comment on that Floors last name was no longer Jansen. =P The site (Swedish) I used for their information and adress is available to everyone but I'm not sure it's 100 % correct. AFAIK Hannes legally added "Van" to his name as a drunken mishap 10-15 years ago but this site doesn't seem to acknowledge that. So either the site is wrong or he actually reverted back.
Back then, in 1918, its was the 82nd Infantry Division. the 82nd, like the 101st Infantry Division were transfered to a new formed Unit, the Airborne Infantry during WWII. Both Divisions received the Airborne Satus in 1942, since then they have the Title Airborne and wear the Airborne Tab over the Divisions SSI on the Uniform
Team Tommy, Southern California... I can confirm...Mr. J isn't fond of Meatloaf comparisons... tho he understands the sentiment. And he *does* visit reactions...so, maybe rethink your nickname, out of respect.
GG6 literally has his name on his back haha and the clean male singer is Nils Molin! I love Nils he is an amazing singer do check out Dynazty if you haven't already. I am a big fan of Amaranthe's switching vocals but that is me in older songs every vocalist gets one verse with the growler always getting the bridge.
That's funny you say that. Dynazty showed up in my Playlist. And I couldn't figure out why. The vocals sounded very familiar, kinda flashy. I actually pulled over, because i wanted to see if it was the singer from dream theater. It wasn't then i went about my day. Makes sense now.
I really hope that you folks will check out the Sabaton History vireo for this song...I think it is episode 029 on that channel...and post it as a reaction video, please? Spoiler alert...in WWI the 82nd was a regular infantry division nicknamed the "All American Division"...it did not become airborne until World War 2.😁
The drummers name is Hannes van Dahl. Hannes is his right first name. Johannes normally is the full name, but in this case maybe not. We all know him as "Hannes van Dahl"
You should show her Tommy's version of this song as it is also good. But one that Elize played with is Alissa in another Swedish band is Arch Enemy and their early singer has done a song with Amaranthe "Do or Die". But Arch Enemy only has a few songs where Alissa sings cleanly like "Reason to believe" "handshake with hell"

8:00 FYI, this is a Sabaton song, they invited Amaranthe after they made a cover. You can hear all the originals hear on yt. More reactions for you ;O

Yea, unfortunately, I've already shown her the Christmas truce last year.
Yeah 1916 would be great too
Well then, maybe not on the same epic level, but why not show her 'To hell and back' official music video.... also a banger....
There are alot more better songs for introduction like the whole carolus rex album and Attero dominatus.
@peo4989 idk, I was introduced with night witches. Not very epic. I was just ecstatic there was an historical power metal band.

Christmas Truce music video highly recommend for wife
Hannes Van Dahl is his name and they are married and her married name is Floor Dahl but she keeps her professional/stage name as Floor Jansen.
The drummers name is Hannes Van Dahl (Karl-Hannes Dahl).
Floor seems to be registered as Floor Dahl on their adress.
Darn it, I kept calling him "johannes". I must have the singer from Avatar in my brain!
@@HistoryBuff I expected you to acknowledge that but I thought you would actually comment on that Floors last name was no longer Jansen. =P

Here's Hannes himself telling the story about the name when he auditioned for the band ua-cam.com/video/yhmkJNPPALI/v-deo.html@@Tim_Nilsson

1916 or Christmas Truce.are big, maybe some of the Sabaton covers such as Kingdom come since she has a 1980 1990s music background
Just a little hint. I hope Tommy doesnt listen to this.. You see , he absolutely hates being compared with Meat Loaf. Just F.Y.I
Team Tommy, Southern California... I can confirm...Mr. J isn't fond of Meatloaf comparisons... tho he understands the sentiment. And he *does* visit reactions...so, maybe rethink your nickname, out of respect.
I was at that show, front row!🤘 Great reaction, btw!
Man, y'all went on a tear of uploading today.
Enjoy!
🤘😎🤘
WWI the 82nd was yet a airborne division

Then you have more songs to get in to. The last album are fantastic and the EP that came out recently is i as god also
I really hope that you folks will check out the Sabaton History vireo for this song...I think it is episode 029 on that channel...and post it as a reaction video, please?

Aww, too bad. We watched the episode before hand to get ready
5:00 No AA means from all over America.
The drummers name is Hannes van Dahl. Hannes is his right first name. Johannes normally is the full name, but in this case maybe not. We all know him as "Hannes van Dahl"
Yea, I definitely knew this, but I've been super into Avatar lately, and their lead singer is johannes. I think it was just force of habit.

I think a better intro to this song would have been Sabaton's lyric video. Then Amaranthe's music video, with this then tying them together.
Baby meatloaf is a great nickname 😂😂
I'm hearing he doesn't like it, but until I hear thag personally, I'm using it!
🐕
Hannes Van Dahl is his name so not Johannes
Hannes Dahl. not Johannes ...
You should have just done the Sabaton only video .. This video don't really get the Sabaton sound across
Yea, I've had avatar so much on my mind lately, I was thinking their lead singer johannes
To be honest, this video isn't a good video for introducing someone to Sabaton.
your talking tu much sorry
Sorry, folks with short attention spans need not apply.
Its a reaction video...
Talk all you want guys!! 😎
