    I had NO IDEA that's how you saved blocks. This is going to save me A TON of time. Thanks Cooper!!!

    Hi, new to this 😔, is there a way/option to just copy straight to a scene or preset? I remember back in the day with a Roland GP16, this was possible. Any similarities? I’m aging myself here, and exposing my difficulties with this modern equipment. 😭😭😭 Thanks!

    Hey Cooper, I just got the FM9 and I'm loving it! I also got your master class to go through. For something like this, is it possible to have the drive switch on the unit showing which drive is currently selected, instead of just saying drive? For example, "Klon" when I'm on scene 1 and "TS808" when I'm on scene 2.

    Hey Cooper, great tutorial. Thanks so much. Would this work for several scenes that utilize the pedal for different effects? For example, I have individual presets to use the pedal as a whammy, rotary (leslie), volume & wah. Would be great to consolidate into one preset.
    Thanks again!

    Can you use two presets by using volume pedal toe for one and heel for the other? Just like the axe fx2 does

    this might be a really dumb question but can scenes be saved? wouldnt this make it all MUCH EASIER?

    Do you think someday we will be able to switch amp channels with no gap in audio?

    • @coopercarter
      @coopercarter 2 роки тому +2

      The channel switch gap is smaller than the channel switch gap on my real world Fender Super amp and Mesa/Boogie! It's not a big deal.

      @@coopercarter I get that but it’s annoying. Especially when I’m the only guitar player at my church and any gaps in audio are just obvious. At least to me lol maybe I’m the only one who notices

    This doesn’t look like you are combining presets… more like making them from scratch.

    What a pity that there is only 4 channels for 8 scenes. It's ridiculous.
    Sincerely, it would have been very smart from Fractal to achieve 8 channels per preset, instead of the poor 4 channels per preset.
    1 scene = 1 channel
    8 scenes = 8 channels
    So 1 preset = 8 scene AND 8 channels.
    That simple and easy.
    Cheers,
    Phil from Dunkirk

      Phil. You have misunderstood. It's not 4 channels per preset. It's 4 channels per Block. If you insert 2 amp blocks into the preset then you can have 8 different amp channels, each with a completely different amp model. For overdrives, you could insert up to 3 Drive blocks which would give you up to 12 different channels in a single preset...each with a different drive pedal model or configuration. And you could then run the blocks in series or parallel or a combination of the two for different effects. You can insert up to 4 Delay blocks which would give you 16 different delay channels per preset. And so on. Each block type has its own limits as to how many blocks of that type that you can insert into a preset. Also...on one Cab block you can insert up to 4 different IRs Per Channel and blend them as you wish. So, it's actually more flexible and powerful than what you're asking for.

      @@feedbackbro Dear FEEDBACKBR, many thanks for your help and description. I think as you said it is for the Fractal FM9.
      But what about the FM3 ? Is it the same or less ?

    • @feedbackbro
      @feedbackbro Рік тому

      @@ALIASZARDOZ No worries. Indeed, I was quoting the FM9 specs. I believe the FM3 has about 1/2 the DSP power of the FM9 so you cannot configure as many blocks of each type. The Fractal Audio Blocks Guide details all of that. If you Google it you can see the comparison between AxFxiii, FM9 & FM3. You probably would not want the FM3 as it can only have a single amp block and, hence, 4 channels in a single preset.
