Officially it isn't a 4 season tent as the tent isn't siliconized, like any PVC plastic; in cold weather it does tend to harden. If it is going to be used in Canada during the winter I would say that it isn't up to the job, obviously you have much harsher winters than we do in the UK. Robens are based in Denmark so they have slightly worst winters than the UK but still not on the level that Canada would see. It maybe worth speaking to Robens directly to see what they recommend. If you were in the UK and not trekking in the mountains then I would say it would be ok. Hope this helps.
