J.C you should switch out those trebles for inline hooks... it better for the fish and easier to pull out if your accidently hooked by a thrashin' fish.
Love that beach Snook fishing…great time now! So JC…why don’t you use long nose pliers to remove hooks? It took me one time to get hooked while unhooking a thrashing fish…never again. Anyways another great SW beach video 👍🏼
@@Kevinw4040 thats wassup bro, my comment wasn’t meant to come off as negative or anything like that. but I hear u I never wash mine lol just personally can’t justify spending more for essentially the same thing.
I tried hitting the beach down there last year for Snook but I was just a little bit early. Nice thing is my wife has a family member with a tiny vacation home in Indian Shores that we pay him a very small amount to cover electricity and water while we are there and can almost go whenever we want. I may pop down for a few days this summer some time and try again!
Love your video Rad! I have been thinking about relocating from Gulf Breeze to Dunedin. Should I focus my snook beach fishing on Honeymoon Island? Or further south on Clearwater beach or St Pete beach?
How do you like your wraith? I have an 8000, with a 12-13ft matching rod witch worked great until a huge cobia broke the tip end off. So I mounted it on a 9' medium heavy generic rod that I use on bridges. The 8000, after I changed to carbon drags works on anything that bites from Cobia, to 6' sharks and is a dream. I thoroughly love how it works so smoothly. Great vid, thanks.
For beach Snook on the beach where there's no structure present I use 15 to 20 braid main line attached with an FG knot with a 6' 30lb long mono leader with an additional 12" of 80 lb mono leader where the lure is.
Just curious why do you snook fish and don't keep them I heard they taste great and I know you enjoy eating good tasting fish I mean you and others make these videos which I for one like to see good recipes and see you all catch clean and cook up these also Bass catch and Cook's don't understand some of you, back in the day fishing was catch and eat what you caught, today waste alot of money, and some of you spend a lot of money to please yalls fans I like most of your videos but who am I, have a good time
Snook are catch and release only during certain times of the year. In SW Fl. the season was closed for about two years because red tide had been very bad and a lot of fish were killed. Snook are always catch and release during the winter months and summer.
JEALOUS! Great times. I wish I could get fishing. For now I have fun watching you 😂
Hey JC,, we enjoy your efforts. we all know it's not fishing and not catcching. Thanks for doing the work that I enjoy watching.
Hello Rad Reel, catching one of those bad boys off the beach would be sweet, but than you get addicted to that bite, hope you get on them next time👊🎣👍
I always love, love, love to watch you snook fish. That's a species on my bucket list! Great job and thanks for grinding it out for us man.

Your enthusiasm is awesome!
👍🏻 Great video. Fishing has been slow all up the coast.
I enjoy your videos and when you cook as well.thankyou so much
JC another great video, keep it up man we all see how much effort you put into this channel. Tight lines we know you’re the snook master 😉

it’s crazy how some people pay 30 + bucks for a 2$ pair of pliers lol
@@thegutdiverI paid 10$ for mine only because they’re aluminum and will never rust. I’m too lazy to rinse them off later.

What happened to the Tundra?

Right before, during and a little after the full moon...Do it!
@@RadReelingFishing Thanks for the tip.
JC you should get some fish grips and some needle nose pliers so you won't get stuck with that hook 🪝 again
Like to see catch and cook on snoek
Way to go JC

Find an inlet to the Gulf Of Mexico and target them there.

For the bottom of the Penn line it's a good reel for the price. I'd pay the extra money for the Pursuit though.
That big one was on before lol i saw the rod moving before you set the hook😂🤘❤️🎣🐟
Are you able to eat the fish? From Florida beaches
Snook are catch and release only right now. You can keep Whiting and also there are some Sheepshead out there too.
Is snook good to eat??
NO, throw them all back David they taste like soap.....LOLOLOLOL
Any bigger fish is best not to hold vertically and need support
What type of fishing line is best for this type of waters?

Hi JC - what size and color is that yo-Zuri you were using ?

Thank you sir! Grabbed one from the link. Looked a little different from vid but looks good to me
@@scarri3r The link I sent you is the same lure design, but with better hooks for Saltwater.
What’s ur favorite beach snook / tarpon lure
I time marked this video with the info: ua-cam.com/video/Y-Ru6I3AaFk/v-deo.html
What settings do you use on the gopro JC? 1080p, 60 frames, and hypersmooth on?
1080 30FPS and normal stability, not boost.
@@RadReelingFishing Thanks JC
