also these cost around 60 euros here in Europe and I've seen Spitfire's Soft Slider 93A's go for up to 80 euros so I'll stick with the Bones X-Formula 97A's and 99A 's
They're my all terrain wheels. I'm able to skate street, skateparks and cruise with them. I didn't like the Powell Dragon 93A in skateparks. I will definitely try the new Spitfire 97s next.
I think the OJ Nomads 95A were the first "all terrain wheels". Though they never really received a spotlight as the other "soft" wheels. Personally I like them🤷 They are not new, but can you make a review on them? Just curious about your opinion.
I actually got a set of 99A formula X bones wheels. 55mm v6. I for many many years rode STF and love those except I'm getting older and beat up so I needed a change. I had a set of old 93a Powell wheels that I used temporarily but I didn't like them. They're sticky and dont slide great. The 99a formula X are AWESOME!! Soft like the 93a but they slide!! Will allow me to skate more and longer!! I wanna try these software ones to see if they slide better also but still reluctant cause of my other Powell 93a wheels. Anyho! Spread the good word man!! These are a game changer!! Especially mixed with fp insoles😂🤙🤙
@fasttimesskateboarding it takes some getting used to with some things. Mostly a backside powerslide you gotta lean out a bit more but they're great!I haven't tried the 97a but I just destroyed my ankle AGAIN... so it's gonna be a hot minute 😅😅 I just ordered some stage 4 indys to try also yesterday/same day😭😭😭 blahhh gotta pay to play haha.shred on bro!!!🤙🤙
I got the exact same set and size. They really are good for anything and everything. If I’m skating in my neighborhood, which has really rough terrain, I’ll use these or the dragons. Best wheels for tricks imo are the f4 OG classics.
Definitely the best to me. Ride them since 6 months and they last long the sound is pretty good (slightly dull) and keeps my old legs safe. Did not try the 93 spitfire yet but not sure I will as these wheels are just perfect all roads.
Yeah when I get on 99a wheels now after riding the dragons and x97s, every land just feels like jackhammers, and it's no surprise you felt a lot better after hours of skating. I do wish that the x97's were a little bit softer because they do get a but jarring on asphalt. It seems like the spitfire soft sliders might be that...?
@@fasttimesskateboarding Thanks for the reply. I've been really liking how stable the nano's feel when I drop into bowls. I need to keep a wide shape more in mind when buying my next vert wheels. Glad I asked. Good review
I have these, the dragons and the new spitfire soft sliders, everyone will have their preferences but at least for me, the normal 99-101a are dead, I cant really see myself ever going back.
Thank you Mr Paxton for your insights, could recognise you from that voice before your face popped up🫶🤣 Nice review though, looking for some soft atf wheels to cruise a college campus. Got lots of brick and cracks. Debating superjuice minis
@@fasttimesskateboarding yeah just copped some bones rough riders. But maybe will go mini juices. I just wanna be able to Ollie sometimes, trick very occasionally, like just if someone wants to see I’m valid. Other than that it’s mainly cruising on crust so I think these are up their with hybrids like ricta clouds
What do you guys think of the 97a X Formula wheels?
Love 'em! My favourite wheel so far! Handles any terrain very well

I have these, i like em. I think i wanna switch to a x99. Did you see p-rod just signed with bones?
Been skating them for a year and a half now and sometimes I honestly forget I’m rolling on shitty ground sometimes lmao complete game changers
It makes it harder to go back to a standard 99a wheel!
out of all wheels I've tried the last years these X-Formula 97A's are my favourite all-round wheels!
That's sick, glad you're loving them!
I just got the Dragons and had my eyes on FX for a long time. I really like the V4 Shape which is only available to Dragons as of now.
Definitely recommend the X Formula, hopefully they drop a V4 shape soon for you!
What is the advantage of the V4 shape over the V6?
Instant subscribe. Thanks for reviewing. Just got the Ave 2.0. And plan to pick up these wheels after watching this review.
Cheers. 👊
Cheers legend, Let us know how they go!

Sick, we'll definitely consider doing a video on those wheels!
Dude your killing it in this video 🤙 spitfire 93a radials next?
Appreciate you! Definitely got the Spitty Soft Sliders on our list. Keep an eye out!
Siiiick🔥🔥 dope vid ! These wheels are sick!
btw what size you deck you ride?
Thanks mate! Leon is riding a 9.1" Jacuzzi Unlimited egg board here.

Thanks mate. These definitely slide better at a 97a than the 93a Dragons do!

Glad you're loving them mate. OG Classics are great too!
First session with my Nano cubic 52mm, feels faster yet less vibration compared to my previous 52mm 95A mini logo wheels
Sick, those wheels are great!

These wheels are great but we're also looking forward to trying the Spitty Soft Sliders!

These new formulas are definitely changing the game. We're looking forward to testing out the Spitty Soft Sliders soon!
i have 3 sets x97 56mm v6, and one set x99 54mm v5. haven't tried the x99 but loving the x97 and v6 shape
That's sick, we'll have to try the 99a X Formula next too!
Would love to hear how these do in big slick bowls
Nice review dude! Did you had the change to compare these with the x99?
Not yet but good idea!
What is a spitfire all terrain wheel though?
I loved these wheels! I hate switching from them, but I got the Reynolds spitfires so hopefully they are as good.
We've got the Spitfire Soft Sliders on our list too!
Is the x formula 97 or x formula 99 better for skatepark in your opinion?Really nice content🙌
Thanks mate! X97's are softer so they can handle rough spots and skateparks better but X99's will be good if you only want to skate smooth skateparks.
How do these wheels feel compared to the 97a Nano Cubics? Probably pretty similar but differently shaped
Very different in terms of shape and performance since the Nano Cubics are off centred and lock in shaped
@@fasttimesskateboarding Thanks for the reply. I've been really liking how stable the nano's feel when I drop into bowls.

back 180 the grass gap was sick
Yes, they are. Better version of the Dragons.
Definitely better for both smooth and rough surfaces!
Sad there not making them now
I have these, the dragons and the new spitfire soft sliders, everyone will have their preferences but at least for me, the normal 99-101a are dead, I cant really see myself ever going back.
These soft formulas that can slide have definitely changed the game!
Hey please do a review of the new Spitfire Formula Four 93A soft silder
Wheels and compare these X97 and Dragons to them, thank you 🎉🎉🎉🎉
We've definitely got the Spitty Soft Sliders on our list!
Are they similar to Ditch Tech Formulas?
The Ditch Tech are a 95a which is softer but they weren't designed to slide like the X Formula is.
I like the dragons better than this wheel I found they are kinda bouncy and grabbed too much on grinds also they are a lot different than spitfire 97s
The rougher the ground the faster they go
Dude that crook off the block 😮💨
Bones x 97 are the best and I was a spitfire guy
They really are the best!
Nope .. get the new Spit Fire Soft Sliders
Waiting for them to land in Aus and we'll be testing them out ASAP!
Thank you Mr Paxton for your insights, could recognise you from that voice before your face popped up🫶🤣
Nice review though, looking for some soft atf wheels to cruise a college campus. Got lots of brick and cracks. Debating superjuice minis
Thanks mate! If you're after wheels just for cruising then we'd recommend something softer than this
