  • In this video, I compare the sound of the OEM exhaust vs a UEL header vs the UEL header with an Invidia R400.
    Even if the dB meter was not exactly at the same place for each measurement, I think it adds a plus value to the video.

    Hey, I’m just wondering if this set up is just headers and exhaust. And if you need the other pipes and cold air intake recommended on the Lachute Performance Headers page which you referred to.

      Hi,
      The car does have a K&N thyphoon intake wich is not required. A drop in high flow pannel filter in the stock air box will give you as much gain as a cold air intake. If you want to add one for the look or the sound of course enjoy it!
      On the exhaust side. The car has the header wich will give you the most gain when you get a tune. The car is much more linear in the power band now. Plus I have the invidia R400. A catback dosent affect the power it just affect the sound. I still have the stock over pipe and stock front pipe. My tuner (zach at CSG) recommand an aftermarket front pipe wich I dont have. The gain in power are minimal with a front pipe, but you could get some. Changing the front pipe with a catless header will make the car way much louder too, even if it's a double resonated one.

      Thank you, I was just checking if you added anything else to the car to make the sound, but looks like it’s just the performance header and R400 with an ECU tune. Thank you
