- Garrett Weaver from On Point Reviews and shoots the new 2021 Mathews V3. This is a review on the 27" Model which includes a breakdown on the new features and a lower poundage and shorter draw speed test.
The Bow is set at 27" draw length at 60#'s shooting a 428, 480 and a 575 grain arrow.
More videos!! Keep up the good work
Thanks man 👊
Prime Nexus next??
You forgot to mention new limbs and new limb pockets. I shot a v3 31” and it had a noticeable difference in draw. Not significant but noticeable. It’s smoother
Hoyt RX5 come out with some good stuff this year. Integrate rest technology has now been added to the sight....they have a binary for the first time... no split yoke system. They got a serious package this year that actually sort of justifies that ridiculous price tag they have at Hoyt. But none the less good stuff. But they still can’t get that speed up while Xpededition is easily making 365fps bows at 70lbs. I wanna see everyone do that. I got a Halon32 I can’t let go of. I just like it that much.
The aluminum version is the same though. So the question becomes; is the carbon riser 50% better than the aluminum. If yes then buy the RX5. If not buy the aluminum.
As many others here 27" 60# is my draw length!!!
On my V3 27 the bottom cam is leaning left, and rubbing my buss cable... How can I sort it out?? And what's can be the problem?? I need help.
Kind regards Robert
Probably need to take it to a shop and have the cams adjusted over
Awesome video! 27" 60# is my specs. Is there anyway you can review the prima?
If I can get my hands on one absolutely
when you say arrow weight are you including the tip weight? sorry I am new to this bow thing
Yes, this includes tip weight. This is known at “TAW” or “ total arrow weight” thanks for watching!
Bro do a vxr 28 vs v3 speed test plz
Love mine
Is the dump into the valley any better? Like not as severe?
It should be the same man. This one was on 60# so it would be hard to say if comparing it to a 70#.
Yes it is better in my opinion
Some ask why do manufacturers (to our frustration) make only slight changes every year. First, they don’t make huge changes annually because they want to see a ROI as quickly as possible and begin making a profit. Recouping their R&D and Engineering costs is their top
Priority. They don’t make radical chsnges until technical advances are made and competition forces them to do so. Instead, What we see are relatively slight changes to freshen the product “line”. Legally, these slight changes are done to keep the patent enforced (patent modifications) for an addt’l 25 years. If they didn’t, then others could knock off their design without compensating them.
Never saw it from that perspective, thanks for sharing!
Nice review what camo is that by the way ?
I believe that is the new FirstLite camo but don't quote me on it.
It would be cheaper to just rotate your nock so that your odd vane is off to the side. That’s what I did on my Vertix.
100%
what’s that release
Just a short and sweet
What camo pattern is that?
The new first lite pattern. I think it's called spector
Vxr 2.0? Isn't it literally Vertix 3.0?
Haha you’re not wrong!
$1100 dollar bow you you throw a cheap ass whisker biscuit on it! C'mon now!
Lol it’s all the shop had for me to use. It doesn’t change my reviews at all. The speeds aren’t changed more than a 2fps vs a drop away.
Yep won't be buying one they didn't change chit
I’m just waiting for the negative comments to flow about the VXR 2.0 title 😂
@@PMOUTDOORS24 I think I'm going to try a bowtech this year I'm really digging the no bow press tuning ability
That’s been a big factor for me as well. It’s a great feature
I'm in the same boat as you. I'll either keep my Vertix or I may switch to Prime. Waiting to see what they come out with tomorrow. I was almost sold on the Black 3.
