I just bought one myself it’s cambered in 7prc same color just shot 60 rounds so far topped it with a ZEISS sighted it in and went rite to 500 yards I tell you that rifle shoots
@@chrisbailor733they are similar diameter. for bore cleaning a bronze or nylon bore brush is oversized and can accommodate anything close since they are flexible. .270 bore is is 6.86mm .270 bullet is 7.04mm otistec.com/blog/how-to-choose-the-best-bore-brush-for-the-job/

I got 4 cva and all the ones i have shoot under a 1 inch group at a 100 and 3 of the 4 shoot under a inch at 200 still working on some loads and trying more factory loads also note that the groups got a lot better after 15 shoots maybe just needed some good fouling but they are great guns shop around most are from 600 to 780
No hate but at 300 yards it should be a 3-4” group, and a good rest will improve the groups. Also the factory ballistics are seldom accurate. Elevation, barrel length and controlled environment all factor into their data. I have a couple cascades and they’re sub MOA with factory ammo and even better with handloads.
I just tried to buy a cascade here in Syracuse NY..... and this was the first time I've ever had to have a form of information with my whole middle name spelled out. i.e. SS card or birth cert. New York state is F@cking joke with their gun laws!!!

Correct me if I am wrong but a 270 is .277 and 7mm is .284 so not the same size bore diameter.

Also note .270 caliber is measured in inches vs mm (.270 inch bore) so that contributes to some confusion.

@@adamdavis2436 it will shoot that next round - I need some time with it, more magnification, and additional ammo choices
You probably want to check with CVA on the safety. That is not working correctly if you can’t put on safety when rifle is cocked/ loaded.
I agree - it is so weird - I’ll email my rep

You like that who tee who ammo? I have some and I’ve yet to shoot it.
I like whatever ammo I get from sponsors but I’ve used regular core lokt in my .270 for decades.
I'd get a couple if they made left hand.
You shoot like I do. 😂
lol " all the shots are within a handprint "
