@@joy0953 The play we, as the audience saw, was different from the one the in-universe audience saw. We saw the play mixed with the memories of the main cast, which explains a lot of the really detailed stuff. And as a whole, Euphoria is more emotionally realistic than physically realistic (it’s more about how the characters see themselves) This still doesn’t excuse how the locker room number was permitted lmao
I also liked how this school, where everyone is a drug addict, they managed to pull off a well-choreographed play. Even sober well-funded musicals aren't that good!
I think the play was seen in the eyes of the characters more then anything. Just for reference, before the Lexi goes is backstage near the beginning, you can see her putting on a really cheap wig, but the moment she steps out it looks expensive and like real hair. This implies that the play is projected more from their memories than anything else- the whole play is basically showing the characters reliving their most memorable, embarrassing, iconic and game changing moments and how they react when seeing it.
I like how in Euphoria the characters in the show are smoking meth and other drugs and still look ridiculously attractive. Usually addicts like that aren't that good looking

That’s why most people chew gum, use pacifiers or a teeth guard. They also should have insanely diluted pupils and often eyes may shake wildly, roll or cross. It’s not that much of a pretty sight as they portray it in the show. But I mean, people do look very beautiful with big pupils; just their facial expressions might be a bit unsettling. :-)

It's based on the creators life and honestly is the most honest depiction of how I remember highschool. Im 33 and I love the show. Pretty sure it's not primarily for teens considering its HBO
