If there's one thing Ali Awada's perfected, it's the uncertainty of the fate of the characters. It's actually a master-class in how to manage believability. More often than not, the characters don't survive (as far as I've seen), which only makes those films where they do survive much more appealing. In almost every situation, even this one, you can see a future where they either make it or they don't, and that's something Jurassic Park has definitely missed, the feeling that at the end of the day you're a human amongst dinosaurs, chances are you don't survive under ordinary circumstances. The Dive and Trespasser specifically are masters of that art, and unfortunately, not many can pull that off as well as this.
Thanks for that my friend. I definitely had the same issues with the JW movies, so I think the uncertainty adds to creating greater stakes and increasing tension
+ambience +music + animal design and animation +script + environment design +overall story All Positive elements that make these videos very enjoyable. Definitely here for the horror element of deep sea diving with prehistoric monstrosities on the loose. Makes me think of the Iron Lung game in terms of shared themes. Only element I did not enjoy would be -voice acting - quite flat on delivery and not the most convincing. I’m not the expert on acting advice but I would recommend either a voice acting coach or listening to other audio books and radio plays to imitate how others act out fascination as well as terror. Overall, I rate these videos 8/10 for boldness in themes and horror elements in a franchise that sorely needs it.
I mean definitely agree on all the points and the lack of voice acting but you gotta admit, this is some amazing work. Honestly, if something like this were to ever grace the big screens, I would be astounded and amazed by how well it could be done
Wow! The whole time I was waiting for the connection between the two. Then when it happened I was truly surprised. You use ambiguity and suspense so well in your storytelling. Great work!
First time I saw a _Dunkleosteus_ was in the series _Sea Monsters._ Those things were nasty-looking brutes. Can't believe you put one in ice. 😲 Aw, man. Those crunching sounds at the end... Something tells me the _Mosasaurus_ was playing with its food. As if the _Indominous Rex_ wasn't terrifying enough... 😱 Meanwhile, kudos for the inclusion of the _Jurassic Park_ novel. 👍
Every 10 metres down underwater puts another atmosphere's worth of pressure on you. If he were to try and open a door or exit the sub and it wasnt pressurized to the same extent as the air in that pocket, he would either explode as all the gas in his body expanded or be crushed as all the gas in his body was compressed to the same extent.
1. dive to depth 2. go into cave system 3. follow cave system that gradually rises until it is actually above sea level (example a cave that starts in a mountain and exits under the sea - many caves do this in real life) 4. open sub hatch because it's not a problem. Being smart enough to notice a problem is one thing, having the imagination to solve it is another. For the record though, you're still wrong. First of all with an extreme external pressure there is no way the hatch could ever be opened. That's why they always have to equalise pressure or flood the chamber before opening hatches. But lets pretend the hatch did open - he wouldn't explode because he is being subject to a rapid pressure increase. But he wouldn't get crushed either. His eardrums would probably bust and his lungs would collapse but that would be about it. The human body otherwise is incompressible. The world record for depth with just holding breath is a quarter kilometer deep. They did it by using a heavy weight to rapidly drag them down, then a buoyancy device to bring them back up. The only injury suffered was decompression sickness.
@@benfubbs2432 I appreciate your reply. However nothing you said invalidates my comment. As I said, if the air pocket wasn't pressurised to the same extent (that being greater or less than- I feel I could have made this part more clear) as the sub, then he may explode or be crushed. - I then go on to say that both of these occur because of the gas in his body and not any other elements. If the sub was pressurised from the dive, but the air pocket was not, then the gas in his body would expand and he would practically explode if he opened the hatch without decompression. Likewise he would be crushed if the pressure was massively greater, but only in the gas filled areas of the body. Would still count it as being crushed though.

The only thing that confuses me is that they're at an air pocket under the ocean & the guy isn't in any PPE... Wouldn't he be at risk of catching prehistoric bacteria or something like that?

Rest assured Sorna 6 is in the making 😁
@@ali-awada awesome to hear 😁👍
A little more light would be nice. It's great work. 👍👍👌👌
Damnnnnnnnn, that was such an amazing video!!!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
They seriously need to put you on the creative writing team or whatever they call it. Lol
I get goosebumps every time I watch your videos. You do a great job of building the suspense. #JurassicWorld 🦕🦖🐊🦈🦞🦤💚
Thank you so much!!
@@ali-awada you are very much welcome!! ❤️
"Ho my god" was exactly my reaction!! That was so good and so terrifying!!
That frozen Dunkleosteus is really a neat way to explain how they get dna samples from Permian species in the Jurassicverse
Wow full of thriller, amazement and excitement.. Keep it up bro
Thanks ✌️
@@ali-awada when we getting the next part of sorna ?
good Iron Lung vibes on this one. nice work! dumping ballast makes you go up
Alright I’m addicted to this channel and horror of it 🤘🤘🤘
Genial como siempre Ali. Terror y suspenso al máximo nivel. Bien hecho. Congrats
Thank you 🙏
Wow pretty scary mission to be down there, I would never go.
I was scared, Mr Ali!
Wow!! great work as usual 🎉🎉
Thank you so much 😀
Leroy and his many brothers have been through itXD Another great vid.
😂
Ah! another masterpiece! Your work never fails to impress. 🙌🏻👏🏻👍🏻
Thanks so much 😁
The only thing that confuses me is that they're at an air pocket under the ocean & the guy isn't in any PPE... Wouldn't he be at risk of catching prehistoric bacteria or something like that?
That was awesome love it can't wait for the next one really enjoyed thank you 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you 🙏
That i well i really love all of them thanks 👍👍👍👍
goddamn this is getting better and better each episode and more reason for me not to step into large bodies of water again.
This definitely given me vibes of a more horror driven version of Atlantis the lost empire especially the laviatain and the submarine... mix with a little bit of animal planets lost tapes with especially a mix of the bear lake monster and monster of Monterey (highly recommend checking out the 3 seasons of that if you're big fan of cryptids)
Out of all the Jurassic Park/World fan made content you made which ones would you say are your personal favorite...? 😎👍
I definitely went down the Atlantis route with this one. Good pick 👍
My personal favourite is my Sorna series ☺️
Super exciting! Thanks for the upload Bro 🤓👍
No problem 👍
when he got dragged thirty+feet straight-down, inner ears rupture, seawater touches never-before-exposed-nerve-endings, triggering a burst of screaming-in-pain, ventilating that one breath of air, in pitch black frozen depths.
Oscar Winning award 🥇 goes to Jurassic World Dominion horror
Love the homage to SCP-1128! Great work as always!
Thanks again!
You have surpassed the level of excellence that you have shown to us previously. Keep up the good work, thank you and much love again.
Thank you very much!
This is how you make a JP film!! Suspense! This is what the JW films didn't seem to grasp.
I love your vids what software do you use to make them
How fascinating does a frozen primeval monster look in the lair of another, “modern” one?
