Several years ago at Goodwill, I found two of the Fireking bowls and thought I was lucky, but you hit the jackpot with that find! And at a really great price especially compared to the outrageous prices on most of the other things. I suggest you keep them for yourself because you will probably never find them again and they would be difficult to safely ship.
Wow, I would have peed my pants if I found those bowls for that price. I always hit the Goodwill on my lunch break before I retired. I miss those days.

It is good to see you doing well and still continuing to spread that joy and laughter that you are so famous for. I don’t want to appear to be an alarmist, but more a realist. I really wish you would seriously consider putting some paper out there in either Instagram sales or even live sales. Paper is still hot right now and it never hurts to build a cash reserve in such turbulent times. I don’t ever want you to let your guard down with this virus. This is serious beyond imagination. I hope they speak the real truth in the coming months.The spread will not only be soaring in the winter months, but most stores are no longer cleaning like they were and hand sanitizing is a must! This stuff is sticky like glue, living 24 hours on most surfaces. Cell phones, doors, counters, and credit card key pads are transmitters. This is now taking second and third swipes at us all. Please don’t ever let it have the first hold on you, asymptotic or not. You have a long and valuable life ahead of you, please protect it. You are always in my thoughts and prayers.

I have no problem if a charity wants a higher profit, ESPECIALLY since sime resellers go in to buy and resell at way overpriced amounts. Why shouldn't the charity benefit from their labor and research if the going prices as well? That's the one thing that really bothers me about SOME (not Renee) resellers they put the stores down for their pricing, on social media, then charge super high prices. If someone complains, they go into a long explanation on how this is their job and they do alit of work going out to get it's s, do research on prices and lust and send the items out. They chose the job, don't blame CHARITIES for trying to make money too! Ok. Rant ended.

Thrift stores are getting a little crazy with their pricing !! They get these items for free . l think they lost touch with the word thrift store . I thought these stores were to take care of people that couldn't afford the regular store . but I guess those day's are long gone !!!
It's very sad that Good Will charges so much when everything is donated to them. They don't help the less fortunate like Salvation Army does, either. They're a totally for profit store. That's why I don't donate to them.
Thanks for posting about the tulip bowls. We have heavy trash days here where I'm from and I picked up a box of glassware to sell at my yardsale. I found a tulip bowl and thought it was pretty and put into my hutch. Thanks too your video I found out the name of maker and style. Just research it and found its a grease bowl with lid. Love watching your videos.
On an episode of Malcolm in the Middle, the mom finds a new solid wood dining room table online and can't believe it only costs $50. She ordered it and when it arrived it turned out to be for a dollhouse. LOL!
The tulip Fire King bowls were an AMAZING find, an unbelievable price and in wonderful condition!!! I have seen the set sell for $250-$300. I have my Mom's set and cherish them dearly. They look beautiful displayed in the spring. I hope you keep them for yourself. As always, I love your channel, love your sense of humor, your interest in saving stuff from going to the landfill and value of the history and stories behind the treasures you find.
The Fire King bowls were a remarkable find!! I have the grease jar and lid, and have been looking for a complete set of bowls for years! I use the grease jar, it sits on my counter. You should keep those for yourself, don't be afraid to use them-just keep them out of the dishwasher!

Sixteen dollars are such a wonderful deal on those bowls!! So very lucky. I think that they were the deal of the year!! The bag of miniatures are So Cute!! I Love the mushroom set!! They really did raise the prices for the 1/2 off sale, but didn't for the bag of miniatures and the bowls were a steal !!

I think that the little miniature mushroom ceramics that were made by Sears for Christmas time as part of a childrens set that matched the Mothers set that was sold in their Wish Book.

I agree w/you, on keeping them for yourself, plus in time, you may come across those other two pcs. you mentioned, that also go to that set! Man oh man, those prices in that thrift store, were way to high. You can buy a brand new, brand name, cast cast iron pan, for that price, on the one you showed us; way crazy!!!!

I got super lucky and found 10 vintage Izod Lacoste Men's XL Cardigans at the thrift yesterday for 3 bucks each. Almost NEVER find vintage clothing around me. Was obviously 1 person's wardrobe that was donated. All have all the buttons and no holes so should be a pretty good flip
I drive around neighborhoods and if someone is outside u ask them if there are a lot of older people in the neighborhood because I am looking for vintage items. They will tell you where the best area is if they know but just keep driving around you will get lucky and once you find a good area just check it every weekend for sales.,I have found a lot if items this way. My mother collected perfume bottles old o,rd not soon and solid perfume and compacts and carryalls. She had a great collection which right now I have a lot of her miniature bottles a d some of her solid perfume necklaces. But the best thing I have is my grandmothers costume jewelry. A few pieces are marked but she traveled the world several times so I have a nice selection. I even still have my charm bracelet that she gave me when I was 9 years old. You can find a lot of great items out there just drive and look.

Congrats on the fire king! I have a set from an auction. The big one was turned upside down in a box of stuff which I didn’t have a chance to explore. Got in a bit of a bidding war. When I got home to my surprise, there was a set of four. The other three under the big one. One of my best auction buys !

The black paint on the dancing couple has worn off because it was cold painted. A bottle of Testors Black Hi Gloss paint at Hobby Lobby or Michael's will only cost a couple of bucks. You can either touch up or repaint the entire area and the figurines will look like brand new.
Goodness, that thrift store is high! But the FK set is awesome! My daughter has an Insta gram thrift store....Olivesbranchthrift....We left central Va. A week ago for Acadia National Park in Maine. We have thrifted allllll the way up. We had to go on FB marketplace to buy a cargo bag for the top while here in Maine...We have really found some amazing things!!! And we went to the goodwill bins to see what it was like. She bought 80 lbs of clothes!!!! This goodwill only let's 26 people in at a time and you get an hour and half to shop. Then they take the bins away, clean the area, bring out all new bins and let new people in but only 26 at a time. So I really enjoyed it. I don't think I would with 150 people in at a time, like they said it normally would be. Yikes!! Your FK set is amazing! Yay!
Those lamps are awesome! I think you could flip those on FB Market place and double/ triple your $$$. Especially with shades and all the owl lovers and fits into Boho decor as well as vintage 70's!
Great find! Fire King bowls are beautiful. I love the cake pans! I collect them. I got lucky at Goodwill with a Griswold Dutch Oven for less than $8.00.

I use my pyrex bowls and have all my life. They look just as good as they have ever have. I never have washed in the dishwasher.My kids will all want them. LSO i HAVE FLATEWARE CALLED tWIN STAR BY oNIDEA. I have the set since 11 years old. You could get them with betty crocker coupons. I am 73 now. Have never had another set.

The thrift store in our area had a similar owl lamp priced at $50 so you may want to check the comps.

The black paint on the dancing couple has worn off because it was cold painted. A bottle of Testors Black Hi Gloss paint at Hobby Lobby or Michael's will only cost a couple of bucks. You can either touch up or repaint the entire area and the figurines will look like brand new.

Goodness, that thrift store is high! But the FK set is awesome! My daughter has an Insta gram thrift store....Olivesbranchthrift....We left central Va. A week ago for Acadia National Park in Maine. We have thrifted allllll the way up. We had to go on FB marketplace to buy a cargo bag for the top while here in Maine...We have really found some amazing things!!! And we went to the goodwill bins to see what it was like. She bought 80 lbs of clothes!!!! This goodwill only let's 26 people in at a time and you get an hour and half to shop. Then they take the bins away, clean the area, bring out all new bins and let new people in but only 26 at a time. So I really enjoyed it. I don't think I would with 150 people in at a time, like they said it normally would be. Yikes!! Your FK set is amazing! Yay!
Those lamps are awesome! I think you could flip those on FB Market place and double/ triple your $$$. Especially with shades and all the owl lovers and fits into Boho decor as well as vintage 70's!

I got lucky at Goodwill with a Griswold Dutch Oven for less than $8.00.
Wow, that’s a great price for a Griswold! The bowls were probably my best find ever at this thrift store.

I use my pyrex bowls and have all my life. They look just as good as they have ever have. I never have washed in the dishwasher.My kids will all want them. LSO i HAVE FLATEWARE CALLED tWIN STAR BY oNIDEA. I have the set since 11 years old. You could get them with betty crocker coupons. I am 73 now. Have never had another set.

Mushrooms were a big thing in the 70s I think. My grandparents' everyday china had mushrooms on them. I still have a wooden mushroom napkin holder.

Wow, the prices on some of those figurines! Those owl lamps are wild...wonder if the eyes light up? Hoo-Hoo! Looks like this store is in the rich part of town! That's how I got my flat wear. My favorite local G.W. store is closing for good. Building stripped of all signage and dark. Yes, question was on "film"! See, your great finds offset the storage locker experience. Those minis are great "Frog Furniture"! Sure, thrifting is the Luck of the Draw!
Can you imagine if instead of the owls on the lamps, they were large frogs??
