    I loved watching this one. You did a great job with the interviews. They were funny.

      We’re thinking of doing a lot more “campground conversations” interviews for our UA-cam videos…is that something you’d watch? Basically just asking a bunch of other RVers all the RV type questions.

    Cool to see you guys meeting up with Less Junk, More Journey. They were one of our inspirations when we went full time.

    Fun to hear from all of those adventurers. Nice topic, good video, and yeah... you are not regular, but you are specific and fun! This will also probably draw more people to your channel honestly! You did this very well imho.

    4 years, 34 states, it's all about the Journey. Because we live THIS life full-time, we consider the "living" + "together" + "motorhome" as a requirement to add the state to our map. Next topic? "Why did you go into the Full-time RVer lifestyle?"

    Well if you go to Alaska you have to stop in British Columbia
    Lots of cool things to see here 🤷🏼‍♂️😁

    Yay! So glad to get a longer video from you guys! Your adventure is so fun to follow along! Can't wait for your catchup content 😊
    This was a fun topic to think about. We have our sticker on our tow vehicle. We count setting foot in the state. If we drive through it but never get out, even if just for gas, then it doesn't count. Our country sticker is for our whole family in our NV. We take trips without our trailer, so we wanted to be able to count those.

    • @DoubleDeckerFam
      @DoubleDeckerFam  Рік тому +1

      That’s awesome! As it turns out everyone seems to “count it” in different ways and we think that’s great.

    For us, if we stay the night in our RV we count the state. The exception will be HI. We will take a knob or something from our RV with us when we go so we will count it.

    Great video! Love the approach. It looks like you had a lot of fun searching for the answer to your question. I noticed you are wearing a University sweatshirt. If you are comfortable divulging - are you a scientist? How did you end up amongst so many RV UA-camrs in the same place and time? It looks like you have got a lot of stickers on your map!

    • @DoubleDeckerFam
      @DoubleDeckerFam  Рік тому +2

      It was quite a bit of fun finding my answers. I am not a scientist by any means, just a big fan of that university (especially their athletic programs). I didn’t even attend that school. 😂 I knew someone would ask about how we had so many RV UA-camrs in one place…it was the Lippert Getaway 2022, a huge RV community event. It was the perfect place for me to do all these interviews. In our first five months we moved super fast and got a lot of states on our map, we’ve slowed down a bit now so we’re getting less states but enjoying it a lot more.

    You actually need to do an activity in the state to count, driving through or landing in the airport doesn't count as visiting a state. Nebraska here, we have the Omaha zoo (award winner), Stuhr Museum(award winning), Black Hills(forts to visit), in Spring & Fall we have the Sand Hill Cranes, Chimney Rock, Scottsbluff National Monument, Lauritzen Gardens, Pioneer Village, Archway, & Space Museum.

  • @Dallen9
    @Dallen9 11 місяців тому

    From My Experience, you can't say you've really been there if you don't have a story to go with being there. So even though you've Physically been in the state you can't say you've really been there if you can't say what you did there. So for the family sticker map I'd say if you could of made a UA-cam video on it to capture the moment then it counts. Does there need to be footage of it? No, but if you wish there was you should of set up the Go Pros and the vlogging cameras and take turns filming.

      @DoubleDeckerFam  Рік тому +3

      We have 3 main sources of income - 1) websites that earn income from ad revenue. 2) I own a ghost writing company. 3) I do freelance consulting for tech startups.

      @@DoubleDeckerFam Sounds neat. Just wish I knew what a GHOST writing company is?

    • @DoubleDeckerFam
      @DoubleDeckerFam  Рік тому +1

      A ghost writer is someone that writes on behalf of someone else. Basically, people hire our company to write content and then they (the client) get to put their name on it as the author instead of us (the actual writer).
