Jumped to this one from your latest one about the vanlifer tragedy. Thanks for the honesty. This should be required watching prior to hitting the road.
Amazing video. Thanks for being "real" and for sharing truths. We are Financial Peace graduates that have been together since 1967. We have an awesome marriage but still routinely work on "situations" that pop up in life. (Winston W)
WOW!!! This is an eye-opener. Not one of these issues you speak of are an issue for us...3 years of full-time RVing, and going strong. Had no idea that people are so immature..
With all the RV videos I’ve watched, yours JUST popped into my feed. I’ve always been confused as to why RVer’s don’t tell both sides of the story. Thanks for sharing!!
Your right haven't heard a video like this. Thanks for being real, married 37 years here and 3 children, still in love, still challenges but love is kind love is patient...
Keep in mind, you were talking about the two of you what doesn't need to be for other people. Besides, when living fulltime in a small space can give problems because you have no where to run to.
We gave up traveling on our touring motorcycle and bought a motorhome for travel…then upgraded from a smaller to a class A. No regrets. No marriage problems. There are always issues when you get more than 1 person in a room! Relationships take CONSTANT work. But the RV is far more comfy than the motorcycle…which was great fun…
Nice! I was watching this video like this is not for me. As in your message, but actually it dawned on me that it's not reaching me because none if these points check on our relationship. I feel blessed and wish more couples healthier happier relationships.
I have never commented on any video, while we RV I was not looking for RV videos and this one kept popping up in the sidebar so I was like OK you got me. Well you got me, but in a good way clearly something I needed to hear. And really not RV related while the topic can and will impact your RV life. The bigger understanding and take away is that it was impacting your/our lives with or without an RV. While I have seen so many helpful how to videos from every topic you can think of "This is the one I will remember I bookmarked and have shared". Thanks for being real as these are the kinds of content that are not just helpful but life changing if you take it to heart.
No matter if you nomad or spend your life in sticks n bricks, life is what you make it and how you accomplish your goals is dependant on maintaining your relationship with your significant other.
There is work to be done, it is not all this idyllic life where every day is super fabulous. There will be rainy days, days with rv neighbors in campgrounds who monopolize into your space and make a ton of noise. There is still trash, still laundry, and no one is perfect. The days when you get ticked off at your partner and wonder why you are doing this are hard. Then, there will be a really good day that makes it all worthwhile. Balance is a good word. Every day of life is not perfect, so why would you expect an rv to suddenly change that? So, the expectation has to be that living in a small space can be hard. You can be in each other’s way.
I am about to pull the plug and go on the road. My wife and I were going to start in 2018, but life got in the way. Since then I lost her to cancer and I know she wants me to keep the dream alive, and I think I am at the magical point I can pull it off. I have been watching your videos for a couple weeks, and I have two comments. Number 1, you don't waste my time, your scripting is good and you hit your points. Number 2, your content is relevant to me as I consider this path. My choice will be a travel trailer, small since it's only me, but virtually all your content is an opportunity to learn in a light hearted way. So, keep up the great content, Hope our paths cross down the road! Bravo Zulu
Yes. People need to take responsibility and not try to live in a fantasy world. I mean.....Cramped up in a small space.????? Hello!!!! Are people really this ignorant? Especially ones in 30's or older. OMG. Pathetic. Sad.
I am so very happy that I met and was engaged in two weeks and married 3 months later to the best thing in my life! That was 1977. Still going strong. Two children and now 4 grandchildren. My wife is my best friend.
@@Mexicobeanpole Tomorrow is big day! Having her 65th birthday party. Outdoor dining, mostly vaccinated. Been mostly stuck at home for over a year. Will be good for her.
This is the first time I’ve ever heard of someone with our story! Met on Memorial Day, married on Labor Day. 39 years ago, and best decision ever. We have learned a lot, including how to travel well together
Finally someone whos honest. It scares me how many people have bought rvs lately based on the false pretense you're referring too. I always tell also, if you don't know how to repair things, don't buy an rv lol
Thank you for your open and honest rundown of regular life. It is not easy to maintain strong family connections. It takes an open heart and willingness to better yourself. I applaud you for working hard to make your family life the best that it can be! Don’t ever stop!
So relate to all you are saying. Wise words, but that’s life. We are all moving and changing, becoming the best version of the self God created us to be. We are all learning on the journey. The important thing is to make it.
its a good thing my husband and I are together 24/7 already!! xD we bicker a lot but rarely have real fights. we mostly joke & tease. he takes care of me and I love him. ❤😍😍🥰
I have been watching many UA-cam channels about full time Rving to know it’s not for us. I’m not even sure about part time RVing. My husband does not have the patience needed for the breakdowns and day to day maintenance. Yes, it looks like a lot of fun but there is definitely a reality side. I will just continue to live vicariously through al of you - the good, the bad and the ugly. Great video!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you for the total honesty you present, and opening up about how life is not always what we see in the edited social media. At 63 and 65 Respectively my wife and I don't have all the answers either. Each day is an opportunity to react well or poorly to situations, and just hope that the good outweighs the bad.
