This is the happiest😁 I have seen Sebi! 🥳looks relaxed and excited to be here. 💫
Korda is switched on this year and ready to take scalps
He looks very comfortable on the court.
hell yeah I'm excited to hear that considering you're never wrong
@@HarrisonSim😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
mmm.. could win it
Nearly beat Novak the other week
Only Tsitsipas Rublev and Novak can stop him
I didn't really know him before, but am now a big fan. Loved the interview!
Czechs are always likeable, since my days of watching soccer, they always had class and fortitude, with no complaining. Good people, next match with the other humongous Pole will be awesome. Cain't wait
That's interviewer is absolutely perfect who is he? This is what we need! Laid back but respectful and great questions. Not too challenging q's, and fun and not drawn out like it's art being done on the court.
that stepanek is one of his coaches makes this so much more beautiful
I know that you liked this comment Radek!
Is that Radek Stepanek in his camp?! No wonder he's playing incredibly well. Combine Stepanek's craftiness and consistency with Korda's natural power and movement, that's a dangerous combo!
Yep. Stepanek influence has to be a reason behind his serve-and-volley and overall net game
yes I heard that even they can communicate in Czech, as Korda's parents are from Czechia
Sebastian's father, Peter, was a very fine player himself
Great stuff from Korda! Great rallies and the match performance overall!
I hadn't heard of this guy until he played Djokovic a few weeks ago. Was really intrigued to see how he would fare against Med today. I thought he would lose, but he blew Med away; his power, accuracy and shot variety were all too much for Med today, although I think the slower pace of these Australian hard courts are not conducive to Med's best tennis. Korda's next game against Hurcatz will be very interesting too, as Hurcatz has beaten Med the last 2 games they played each other.
What a glorious player❤️❤️
Korda tiene un espíritu simple y ganador..!
Congrats Sebi 💪👍👏👏👏
Korda is becoming a beast of a player
Bravo, great match! 👏👏👏👏
Hope he can go deep, he’s got a beautiful game to watch, been my favourite of the ‘new players’ coming up along with Alcaraz!
what a great guy! big congratulations
Interviewer is literally making funny comments and then looking for Korda to react lol
This interview is hilarious. He will come at you with the little jabs LOL
When I first saw him play Rafa at RG20, I knew Sebi was one special player. Glad to see him finally unlock his potential. Mark my onwards, he's gonna be up there with Alcaraz in the future!
Great start to the season so far, for Korda! I *so* hope he can finally start showing some consistency.
I want Sebastian Korda to beat Novak Djokovic.
It will be a big breakthrough ☺
Congrats to Korda!
If I can remember his father Petr playing that must mean I'm old af haha, his son reminds me of him so much, the athletic genes run in the family that's for sure! Happy for Sebastian, apart from being very talented he seems to be also a nice guy!
I love Petr Korda
His serve is so much better than last couple of years and that seems to be the major improvement. Plus, he has a very calm presence… and my world that winner that won the match, especially he missed the last couple of shots
His family is blessed
Korda a way to go. Congratulations.🎉
Sebastian Korda is the only reason (besides maybe a little of sinner) I want to watch tennis after roger, nadal and nole retire.
I agree.
No alcaraz? 😥
@@johnman9386 yes he is so good, but I love watching korda more, his speed his power, no emotions and cold on the court. lets hope they become real rivals korda and alcaraz
Thanks good luck stumbled apon your sisters not complicated but feels like a long story now. I shall be visiting Australia soon. Sawadee Khap.👍🇨🇦🇹🇭
Game plan was simple but very difficult to execute: bring Med in to break rhythm of a rally, lob when available, and if you have to rally to win a point, work short angles and take the ball early to take away time (and depth) from Med. Basically, utilize the short court rather than play long, because Med will win 9/10 rallies from the back of the court, but only about 5/10 from the front.
Exactly…really hard to execute against medvedev
Seba doesn't have the type of game Stef or Nick has so he had to rely mostly on his consistency and court-awareness to execute the plan perfectly. Very impressed with him, he might be becoming a real threat.
@@rodrigoodonsalcedocisneros9266 i disagree completely. he very much has the skill of tsi or kyrgios, if not even better. time will tell but I am sure
your explanation is what is simple here.. and missing the point of Korda's game entirely.
He hit the ball harder, with a better spread.. and with way more tenacity.. showing a willingness to "make the game" and win..
The strength of Medvedev .. is being consistent.. and pushing a lot of balls back in the game, albeit with speed and relative accuracy. Korda was - and is - the better player.
@@lolollolol5654 You misunderstand, he does have skill, but he doesn't have the same playing style of them, which is the style that usually exposes Daniil more. Every Top 100 player has skill.
I just found out that Sebastien’s father is Petr Korda, who is well known for competing with Sampras and Agassi in the 90s. I remember that my father never liked him because he got caught with banned substances. His son seems just as talented
He looks like he unlocked a new level
I hope he reaches the Final!
wow, sebastian korda sponser by richard mille. they got good eye for talent
He is not a surprise. It seems that the curse of NY applies, when your first GS Us open, then it's hard to ever get to GS again.
BRAWA SEBASTIAN ! REWELKA ! 👍😎👏👏👏⚾️🎾🇵🇱🎈
Why polish flag?
@@Ninja-gt3zi jestem z POLSKI ! 😎⚾️🎾⚾️🎾JAK IGA ŚWIĄTEK ! 🇵🇱
Great future ahead.
Modest "monster", "an iron hand in a cotton glove", etc, plus that "cruelty type of ugly" Radek Štepanek as a coach...He will go far, no doubt, this world rewards such things.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Like father, like son ! Good luck for winning AO ! 🏆🏆
Looking forward to Sebi’s scissor-kick celebration when he wins this title!… or maybe his own move. lol
Is this Petr Korda's son? Wow!!!
And it's so awesome that Bill Clinton is interviewing him!!!
What a hero. Good job Korda for getting rid of the antagonist of this tournament!
Antagonist? What illness do you suffer from? 🤨🤨
@@ricklee5845 Do you think people actually like that BS Russian fraud? Along with Abuserev, he’s one of the most hated people on the tour.
Antagonist? Really? Sheesh.......you people. UA-cam tennis comments sections are like a kindergarten playground. Go back inside and finish your fingerpainting.
@@ryoshusuke2108 As I was saying... you are sick you need to seek help!
not him admitting being the worst one in the family😂
That was a great on court interview. Really funny, genuinely Australian. Get the guy to do more of them.
Daniil Medvedev is a traitor
I Watch The Match Medvedev is the More Better Player than Korda
But What is Happened
Daniil Medvedev is a Traitor
MEDVEDEV BETTER TO STOP
PLAY TENNIS
So glad he beat the Russian!!!😂😂😂
@@Jbeee10 Putin is the dirty snake!😂
What a stupid statement. This is tennis, not war
@@majakrstanovic273 Easy for you to say when Russian bombs are not killing you or your loved ones...so STFU!!!
@@majakrstanovic273 medvedev is not very symathic - he is arguing with every crowd in the world and today attacked the umpire out of nothing - so happy he lost. Not because he is russian, but because he is an unfair asshole...
@@majakrstanovic273 Yes, Bravo! So many people in this thread are too stupid.
