@@jeffreyguilmot8772 I need to know where can I purchase the pattern for this travel wallet? I did access the web site for it?! Reason why?! I need to know if it's been "pdf" accessable? To obviously, print it out the pattern?. Thank you. But if its capable to be printed out on regular size paper 8.5 x 11 and not on A4 size. Thank you, again
When hobby/arts+crafts become a skill, people who appreciates it understand the cost of it is called value. The k-mart, wal-mart crowd don't get it and never will. Simple, very nice. Well done. Brovo !
I have the same hammer I am 70 yrs old it was my fathers when he was a kid working at a place that made wooden crates for fruit I always remembered playing with it as a kid before my father died my brother was taking all my dads tools and selling them that hammer was the only thing i took and kept i will cherish it forever
I know this is an older video by now, but one thing that might cut down on the consumable cost and waste of paper towels could be getting a large silicone mat (often sold as "silpat" or silicone baking sheets) to use as a surface to glue on, instead of paper towels. Very easy to clean, dishwasher safe, liquid materials won't bleed through it, and nothing sticks to it. I got one when doing resin casting to protect my bench and it's saved me a lot of hassle.
omg! so no joke we're planning to make some cast iron hammers - if it's ok with you, we will 100% use that as the name because that's hilarious! Happy to send you one when they're made (which who knows how long that'll take haha, but it's in the works!) just let us know :)
great! Thank you for coming up with the perfect name - if we had a dollar for every pun we rattled off at the bench we wouldn't need to sell wallets for a living, it's perfect!
That was excellent to watch. The craft and the video itself were worth my time. Thank you. I still enjoy the subtle variations of how each leather-crafter creates. And I still am envious of folks that are so good at something that they warrant having a die cut of their brand. LOL Very well done sir.
Thank you for making videos. I've just discovered your channel and its a pleasure watching your cinematic, peaceful yet informative videos. Bravo lad, and please keep making these wonderful videos!
Very nice. You might also consider a version with an embedded foil sheet to protect the contents from RFID scanners. Love the quality of your products.

Wow that is such a beautiful product. Can you please tell me what solution you polish the leather? Where can I got the glue you use. Please nominate a store we can buy your instruments. Thanks for ready and for your time.
Beautiful as usual however bulk is a real concern. One of the best things about passport sizing is that it's incredibly svelte, it fits effortlessly in a jacket breast pocket or in a front pocket. You've added a lot bulk to the external dimensions to the point and where it's clunky, many other passport cover designs suffer from the same issue. For the business traveler a smaller design would help.
totally agree! this is not a slim or streamlined passport case - the exterior measurements are over an inch larger than a passport. it's a large travel wallet that holds a passport, 2 notebooks, and a wallet's worth of credit cards. We've done a much more slim passport design on the channel, this particular design was meant to be more of an all-in-one design for something like adventure travel or people who take a lot of written notes during their travels. That's why we called it a travel wallet and not a passport case :)
I like your work. It is difficult to make leather product consisting of many fragments. This travel wallet is simple, elegant and yet very functional. Cheers :)
Cool project! I love it. Can I ask what grit sandpaper you use on that spindle sander? It seems whatever I use just roughs the leather even more than smoothes it.
Just wondering why don't you use a stitching pony? Also is there a reason why you don't use a stitch groover? I'm new to let her work and just wondering.
I learned without a stitching pony 10-12 years ago so for the most part we don't use them - we use a stitch method where our back hand holds tension which allows us to pull both threads tight at the same time just like a stitching pony though! Don't use a grover because I don't like cutting through the grain of the leather that much - of course it's a useful tool to bury stitching on high wear areas of something like a saddle :)
This inspired me to get a leather crafting kit. I had know idea I would care about this but I need a new hobby and this seems fun and rewarding.
So, how is your new hobby after 2 years, stranger?

This particular piece really showcases your skill. Older video and one of your best I think.
Thanks. I'll never complain about the price of leather accessories again.
