Ok, you got me. I fell for it. You people aren't at all serious in your reviews. Its all fun and games for you, isn't it? Let's see how many people we can trick into watching this video. How can you determine which mattress protector is the Best, as this videos' Title states, if your so called "EXTREME Tests" are not uniform on each mattress protector? Oh, and still no clear winner. Guess I should be happy this wasn't longer than 6 min!!

A waterproof mattress cover is an absolute MUST! Especially if you have a dog or child sleeping in the bed too. Or if you're like me and drop everything, including drinks, while in (and out) of bed!
Fun tests, but wish they performed consistent tests against all the mattress protectors. Especially the spill test and weight drop test. I can't use this video at all in my research on mattress protectors, so it wasted my time.
You're right, these were super fun tests to film. But tbh, they're absurd. Hopefully the takeaway is that if a mattress says it's waterproof (like those in this video), believe it! Every protector in the video took a beating and held up.

All the test except the first one. Wasn't really practical, it would of been helpful, if after all the shenanigans to still see how they held up to liquid. I was most curious with the wire brush & sander if it affected the waterproof integrity. These featured mattress protector cost a lil more than average, which is fine especially if it holds up. Thanks for Sharing!!

Wish I had one when my cat was mad my mom brought her dog over and expressed his frustration on my bed! Sucks that I can't afford a new mattress so I'm still sleeping on it.

I would have hoped for a real world test of actually sleeping on it. We just purchased a mattress cover that slips and slides around on our Purple Mattress, it is very annoying when the sheets and mattress cover slide around.
That's such a great point! We really wanted to test the durability of these, but holding up to movements in bed is important, too. Noted!
These are the worst tests on performance of anything I've ever seen. For example, the sander is just going to vibrate the protector with it.
Why would anyone want polyester on a lovely natural fibre mattress.

Making the mattress waterproof and breathable would be a good start. That polyester crap slips and slides on my mattress and doesn't stay put.
