I beg to differ. I watched these guys with my parents from age four on up. I always thought they were greasy and gross. Entitled assholes. Have you read about their private lives? They're a bunch of sickos.
The Original Bromance. Sinatra was a supernaturally gifted singer; Dino was a great entertainer with a great voice, who was fond of, and completely unimpressed by, Sinatra; Sinatra was usually the "padrone," being fawned over by his entourage, and Dino never did that; as a result, Sinatra was (somewhat ironically) always extremely comfortable in the company of Dino... ...and they really LIKED each other.
Thought Martin and Sinatra were such a more natural match than Martin and Lewis. There was definitely a spiritual connection between these guys. Man I miss them, and Sammy too.

Dean was quiet, and an elegant, classy person who finally had had enough of him after 10 years, and told him, "you're nothing but a FN dollar sign to me", and stormed off, and that was the end. Jerry was not a nice person at all, and Dean was kind, generous, helpful - but Lewis really took advantage. According to Angie Dickinson, the fights were well known, and she said it was "open warfare". Notable that Orson Welles could not stand Lewis, and same for several others.

I don't know where these guys are singing, but it certainly isn't a recording studio that controls the tone and volume of vocal delivery. It's clear that Frank and Dean had no need for any artificial enhancement of their vocals. These guys are the real deal! Pure tone, pure emotion and pure feel - every time they sang a song. It's an ability that ended with that generation...
Its so obvious these 2 fantastic entertainers really enjoyed each other's company and were great friends. The world will never see two such classy singers bond that way again. We were fortunate to have them among us as long as we did. May they rest in peace knowing they brought happiness into every fan's life.

Two great friends having a ball. And I do like how Sinatra sings there, more direct, sincere and honest and less of a 'performance' it's less forced, if you follow my meaning.

Dean and Jerry also did the gay riff frequently during their heyday on the Colgate TV show in the 50s and Dean brought it to the Vegas act the Rat Pack started after the breakup.
You can see how much they enjoyed each others company in this. Its quite well known throughout hollywood that Dean is the only guy that could turn Frank down, probably because Frank adored Dean so much (as he did Sammy).
