I have said it and would keep saying it that the Biafrans lost the war mainly because the Britain, Russian, Egypt and the rest of them were helping and supplying the Nigeria with all the arms and weaponry including man power they used during that war, the fighter jet brought from Russia was flown by Egyptian pilots. The Britain especially owe the Biafrans an apology or else, the Blood of the Innocent Biafrans would continue to hunt for them. Biafrans, can never be removed. LONG LIVE BIAFRA.
My mothers brother was one of the Swedish pilots. I never had the opportunity to meet him though. Story goes that sometimes they flew so low that they had drying lines for laundry stuck on the landing gears.:)

Those awesome planes saved a lot of lives in the Nigerian civil war. Many refugee camps which could have been invaded and the refugees slaughtered, those planes played decisive roles to stop those military advances and thus saved so many!
MFI Junior is nearly the same type of aircraft, but the MFI 9B has a wider cockpit, due to the bubbles on each side, and the main wing spar is moved back about 4 inches when passing trough the cockpit area. There was only produced a few MFI Junior, before changing to the MFI 9B.
