Nice airplane! I’m owing a Bo 208 since over three years and absolutely happy

Enjoyed watching ...... a minor point would be not to start an engine in front of a open Hangar ! the other aircraft owners will not thank you for it !

I found it difficult to do really good landings when going to our Bolkow 208C after 1700 tailwheel hours.
But starting the engine with the tail to the hangar door, with an aircraft inside surprised me. I'd have edited that out.
    Enjoy.

Thank you. Where are you based, I'd love to get a Bölkow fly in arranged?

In your last video you was flying a TMG. Did you revalidate on that, then have to revalidate again on a SEP?

Hi. Yes I had to do an SEP revalidation, which I did on a Rallye. I'll tag my TMG rating onto my licence once done. Good thing is the hours on either will cover both ratings.

@@pilotjax1203 good to know, I am a SEP student, when I qualify I fancy trying different things TMG Microlight/ Flexwing etc.
Great work getting back in the air, hopefully next year we will be able to enjoy things a little bit more.

Nice video, thanks for sharing....tip on landing the 208...don’t use more than 17deg of flap, no slower than 80mph on final, don’t flare in conventional sense....if you fly at 80 to threshold and fly level keep just above runway then reduce power you’ll have enough control authority over the elevator to pit aeroplane into a slightly nose attitude as she kisses the ground..weight off the nose wheel (weak point). Have fun
