This video brings back sooo many good memories of the 90s, when music was the best in my opinion! Sooo glad I was an 80s baby, so I could exprience the 90s to it's fullest!!
Nadine Sutherland, my God I had such a crush on her when this came out. I was only like 7 but I would a married the hell outta her. The dancing, the cinematography, This video is flawless.
Shout outs to Caribbean Rhythms on BET for bringing this to my life. Back before there was no youtube or streaming. the host, Rachel Stuart. mmm. so damn sexy. wanted Nadine so bad. one of my HS crushes. no one knew who the hell i was talking about either. loved her even more then. my hidden diamond. :)
in the 90s in one of the summers i was watching a music channel on the tv at 2 am. because a message said this song will come in 15 minutes...i was tired as hell but i was waiting for it...now it's 2021, summer, 2 am....still watching :)
This song should have been a number 1 hit on Billboard but it got zero airplay in America. Never knew why till I saw the DJ Vlad interview recently. I played this song all the time when it first came out and like the whole album.
They don’t make them like they use too... that was music! Nowadays, just crap... gotta love the 90s jams people. My favorite of all time! The beat, the sound, the words... so happy that I grew up in the 90s era when music was the best!
You very correct, the beats were just awesome and real dancehall feeling, Dave Kelly was a genius in his music lab, but today it's lost, the beats are lame and don't even last for a year,
this song seriously takes me back... when I was in secondary song i lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvved this song so much... miss the THE BOX! that channel helped me discover so much cool music
Come to Toronto. It's VERY multicultural here. It's like going to Queens, NY and hearing peoples accents there. People come from Jamaica, Guyana, Trinidad, India etc. and mostly in Scarborough if you go around, there are many older folks that have heavy accents and they talk to their kids like that from young, and their kids mostly grow up with the same accent. yep.
Dude what? Murda Love was fucking Awesome. I was playing that joint on 23rd in Wetmore in Everett, Washington all summer long the year it came out and had the whole city crackin' buddy. Snow has NEVER put out anything that was whack. EVERYTHING Snow touches turns to gold... or platinum for that matter.
Brings back memories from the elders in the family throwing bashmets Christmas time or summer time. Smh don't let me talk about the food drinks and dancing smh I miss it
I would really like to know this other side of me. My dad is Jamaican and Mom is American, but I don't recognize the Jamaican side because my dad is a wonderful man (wink wink) and don't know much about our background, but that's a whole other story, BUT!! I want to know all of me. It's crazy because other Jamaicans can tell that I have some Islander in me and they don't even know me, that trips me out sometimes. In spite of, I really do love that side of me and show Jamaican Pride anyways. This song makes the passion come out of me, sorry!
One of the best reggae songs of all time Snow don't get enough props

This version is the best! The way the drum and bass kicks in 1 after the other 😍 I don't know why Spotify don't have it.
I prefer this version too
Rubbish……Nobody acknowledges the existence of this version…..The remix is life and is basically the only acknowledged version😂❤
I prefer this version too. The remix wicked as well but not topping the original in my opinion.
@BashPBeats people who are deep into music would notice the beat and delivery is completely different 👌 this original version is just perfect.
1:29 “Things U do” at the same time and Nadine, “whooo” 🔥🔥🔥
😊 Long ago I asked someone to do that dance for me

You say that but when this and Informer came out a lot of black dudes were pretty disparaging of him and his talent. Just as they were Vanilla Ice.
I have always been a huge fan of Reggae, and Snow definitely brought it with this track!!
Bummer that this version isn't available anywhere
