As an American, I was a kid while Snow became a think on American airwaves. Me and my siblings got hooked immediately. The general consensus from people here was “oh that white guy who made that one catchy song that one time”. People didn’t take him seriously here because the vanilla ice craze had just died down. And here, if an artist was white they were automatically considered “a joke” act. We didn’t have UA-cam at the time so you couldn’t see interviews like this on a wide scale. No one here knew he got banned from America and Japan. Man I’m in my 30s and I’m still learning stuff about Snow. But one thing is for sure: Snow is way bigger than most people here in America ever learned to appreciate.
