The fact that multiple people got accused of stealing in just this video is wild, goodwill needs to get it together and remember everything they get is literally free 😿
@@nenie89 Goodwill may call themselves a nonprofit but at the end of the day they're a corporation who give in to capitalistic greed. The CEO and executives are lining their pockets with profits made from FREE donations and inflating the prices of clothes that are meant for those who are looking for accessibility and affordability in clothes. I've been shopping secondhand literally my entire life and I come from a very low income background. I didn't just start thrifting because of social media. If Goodwill has a high volume of theft, they should gather info and analytics to better help the demographic who is stealing if they really want to offer any sort of GOOD WILL. Maybe host weekly events for the unhoused to take clothes for FREE. Either way, they get a tax write off and make money from selling to textile recyclers. I use to work for Goodwill and know very well how they take advantage of volunteers, local communities, their minimum wage workers, etc. There's a big difference between thieves stealing to resell and the unhoused/mentally unstable persons stealing to acquire basic resources like clothes. Hope this clarified things because obviously I wouldn't tell my viewers to go into thrifts just to steal and I would hope if you watch my content, one would know what kind of person I am.
