Oh those old springs, u got rocks too. We used to use a 34' Morris, it pulled hard, and did not have the wide chisel. We used the straight chisels, they did a nice job turning over the soil.

It’s neat seeing you guys’ type of chisel plow. In my part of the world (midwestern U.S.,) it means something entirely different. Last time I stopped by my local equipment lot, they had a 23 shank Krause landsaver, which is 30 feet wide and in the right conditions would stop a 500 horsepower tractor dead in its tracks

    • @Northern_Farmer

Your getting cold and we are just starting to warm up in Aus silage and hay on the round in some places looking forward to a bit of sun after a cold winter (for us) even saw some snow this year. when was the last time that tractor had a valve set on it? I don't know how you keep from having the chisel clogging up with residue. We always had a problem with our chisel plows and field cultivators, even in bean stubble... Usally had to disc fields first. Residue management was a real problem for us.

    LEDs 🙄🤣😂🤔🤬
I put a whole bunch on the service truck, all new wiring, so everything works great!! Had a couple of extra LEDs, so I changed out the dead halogens on the back of the cab on the 3394.. I could swear they worked when I put them on, but... I guess I didn't check.
First time I needed them in the field, they kinda half work, only part of the LEDs light up and not very bright.. I know they worked before I put them on.. need to swap wires....

Nothing works a tractor like a 30 foot chisel plow. We run a 25 foot chisel plow on our 580 quadtrac. Our ground is hilly and full of stones . We try to vertical till with a Salford 25 foot unit . But for areas of high compaction we still chisel plow or rip them. Those older case 4wd tractors can do tillage well . Nice video stay safe and farm on my friends!
