I've seen all kinds of drivers from all kinds of company's do all kinds of stupid stuff. Swift gets a bad rap because they hire new drivers and they have tons of trucks so they show up in the idiot box more then most, but boneheads are everywhere, not just Swift. Beside, nobody is born knowing how to drive a truck, and we all had a start in trucking at some point.. and over time "some of us" learn how not to be that guy. Then again, some never learn...and it doesn't mater who they drive for, they still pull stupid moves.

But then your looking after Orwell. Many miles left in her yet. You seem to get looked after pretty good where you are. Not much sitting around and every once in awhile you dead head home. But then your doing a great job for them. No body cares anymore if there blocking anyone. It’s all about me. How the industry, drivers, companies and what laws are now unforced has changed tremendously. Attitude towards trucks on the road has changed. It’s so negative now. I can still dream. Anywho FSC another fine video. Have yourself a great and a safe day. Happy trails and happy motoring. For fun in the next video break out some Polka music.

I see some truckers that have youtube channels who get their trucks and trailers washed every other week. Costs them over $100 a pop and sometimes they have to wait in line to get it done.
I mean no offense to anyone, and to each his own, and yes, they feed money back into the trucking economy by keeping money flowing to the truck wash stations, but all I can say is that I don't see getting a truck washed on the regular basis as being economically sound. Clean, dirty, the rig gets the job done and that's what matters.
Perhaps someone will argue that a clean truck gets better fuel mileage due to less wind drag over the surface. 😊😊

To some it's the image they're trying to portray: clean truck, clean driver, better driver.
I'd agree that washing depends more on if you're a gravel train and hauling dirty loads or running on salted roads during winter. There is something to be said about seeing a dirty girl looking spiffy and shiny though. 😁

I could see the washes to get rid of salt. That stuff finds corners to hide, next thing you know the frame of your trucks looks like Steves trailer fenders.🤣

A clean truck gets better fuel mileage due to less weight. More waiting, more fuel consumed. Sarcasm intended.
