Great challenge 😁 a phone detox is always welcomed. Also, you look (or rather sound) more relaxed and natural in German.
Unintentionally, I sometimes have book marathons like this, I start a new book, thinking I'll read a bit before bed, then bam! I finish it till next evening 😅
Agatha Christie is one of my favorite writers 🥰 I looove her works. My favorite books are Murder on the Orient Express and Mystery of the Blue Train 🤗
Please do more videos in German! I just started learning this beautiful language a couple of months ago and fell completely in love with it.

I really enjoyed this video for two reasons: you're talking about books and you're doing it in your mother language and this is beautiful because it adds so much authenticity. Also, I've learned some german a few years ago and listening to you while reading the translation helped me a lot and even gave me the energy to maybe continue learning german. Es ist so lustig wie viel tiefer du auf deutsch sprichst😁 kenn ich aber von mir selber auch.
Und ich merke wieder wie unterschiedlich deutsche Dialekte sind.. ich hab noch nie die Bezeichnung "Es ist jetzt um 12" gehört.. bei uns (Schwaben) sagt man "Es ist jetzt 12" 😂 sehr spannend!
ich muss unbedingt auch mal Agatha Christie lesen!!

Ich finde in diesem Video kommst du sehr sympathisch rüber... Kann an der Sprache liegen, oder weil du viel lockerer und weniger "nach Drehbuch" sprichst und auch Mal n bisschen blödelst.
Wollte dir Mal danken, dass du mich auf die Vintage Fashion Sache gebracht hast! Ich hatte eigentlich kaum nen "Style" (weites T-Shirt/Pulli und Jeans) weil mir die meiste Mode nie so wirklich gefallen hat. Dann hab ich deine Videos und auch die von anderen Vintage Fashion UA-camrn angeschaut und mir wurde klar, dass ich modetechnisch einfach in der falschen Zeit lebe.
Witzigerweise war keiner meiner Freunde überrascht, als ich von meinem Vorhaben mich anders anzuziehen erzählt hab.
Der selbstgenähte Tellerrock und die neuen Schuhe liegen Dank Corona noch ungetragen im Schrank und freuen sich darauf hoffentlich bald getragen zu werden.
Hehe, wenn ich deutsch rede kann ich eben etwas offener sein und mich besser ausdrücken! An dem Punkt bin ich mit der englischen Sprache noch nicht ganz angelangt. Deswegen wohl die Unterschiede 😊
Und freut mich das du jetzt mit der Vintage Mode angefangen hast. Das ist toll 🕊

Ich glaube momentan ist ehrlich gesagt die beste Zeit sich fashiontechnisch auszuprobieren. Hol doch deine tollen Sachen aus dem Schrank und zieh sie zu einem Spaziergang an (das ist ja ausdrücklich erlaubt). Da ja nicht so viele Leute unterwegs sind, komme zumindest ich mir weniger beobachtet vor und da macht es gleich mehr Spaß so durch einen Park zu flanieren ;)

I have been learning German for 5 months and I understand what you said🤩 my German is not perfect and the subtitles are useful especially in some parts, but I thought I would have understood less. I like that you make videos in German every now and then, so I can practice my listening skills

Sehr schöne Buchauswahl, Agatha Christie ist meine absolute Lieblingsautorin :) Und dann gabs keines mehr ist tatsächlich trotz meiner Liebe zu Miss Marple und Poirot auch unter meinen Favoriten, einfach besonders spannend! Wenn du mal nach Berlin kommst gibt es dort im Berliner Kriminaltheater viele Christie Stücke zu sehen unter anderem auch regelmäßig die Mausefalle :) liebe Grüße

As for me, my favorite ones are "The murder of Roger Ackroyd"(after this one I was in a real shock, ha-ha) and "And then there were none". Ich wohne nicht mehr in Deutschland, und spreche/ höre Deutsch in meinem Alltag kaum. Es war richtig schön ein bisschen Deutsch zu hören und ich hoffe, dass du in der Zukunft vielleicht noch ein paar vlogs auf Deutsch hochlädst😊 Und jetzt muss ich unbedingt diese Bücher lesen, ich liebe Agatha Christie Filme, aber habe nich nie eine ihre Bücher gelesen. I am happy to know you are a reader....I too am never without a book....only in the past several years have I latched onto novels....and I never go anywhere without having one with me. There are always moments with nothing to do and I fill the time with my latest read so I'm not bored.

Tolles Video! Ich finde es total interessant, was und wie andere lesen. Ich schaffe in einer Stunde ca. 120-140 Seiten, wenn mich die Geschichte interessiert. Wenn nicht, dann eher nur so 80 Seiten :D

@@Shirinatra I am halfway through "Outlander" book 1, I'm also reading Harry Potter 3 in italian (French Erasmus student stuck in Bergamo here...) and I had started reading "Sense and sensibility" in english too... I'm reading "Good omens" in pdf... So many books ! I'm really glad to watch videos of you speaking german, you have a really nice accent, I don't have trouble to discern the words (only in translating them haha, but thanks for the subtitles, it's really helpful). I hope you take care of yourself in these difficult times
I never read it as a book, but back in high school, we did And Then There Were None as a play, and loved the murder-mystery/'whodunit' storytelling. The movie version that was done in the 1930s (or '40s?) is great too, saw it a couple of years ago and it was really well done (it's also apparently up on UA-cam!). .
For some reason I LOVE listening to people talking in their native tongues.
I'm a huge fan of Agatha Christie as well, I may have read like 15 or 20 of her books and my favorite is And then there were none as well ! I also like The murder at the Vicarage as it was one of the first I read of her.
I also finished The Clocks in one day, it's a great book, one of my favs, too bad you read it when you were already tired and not very focused.
Please make more videos of you speaking with Deutsch! I'm currently studying Deutsch literature studies and I want to learn some of how to speak Deutsch from you! Dein Video war super :)
