I discovered the Loomis method 3 months ago ... I've been a sketcher for 70 years and never knew why my faces were weird looking until Loomis showed me why. Noses were my most difficult, but your method makes it easier. Thanks ❤️
Both hands and the nose are the devil I mean, I’ve gotten pretty good at drawing fingers by now.. but that doesn’t mean it’s not one of the most difficult things to learn how to draw.
@@-ladyluminous-6067 lol.. yeah .. I had an ABSOLUTE TOUGH time learning to draw hands .. now I draw the hands better than the nose which is very funny to think about
As a pretty much beginner and just occasional drawer (when bored or inspired) this helped a ton. I have never known how to draw a nose and will 100% use this every time. Thanks a ton!
As a beginner, this was wayyyy too fast. I even slowed it down and was still too fast 😅Great videos. Really appreciate you taking the time to make these videos. I’m Learning a lot! I would love to practice this more but, very hard to follow this one.
every risk that she's making you pause the video and do it too, going from risk to risk . Go to Nath Araújo channel and look for a playlist DESENHE UM ROSTO COMIGO it's the best for beginners in my opinion ... and look, I've seen so many videos { sorry not fluent ;)
the Loomis method changed my life. I failed art class. literally with an F. Never thought I could draw. Bob Ross got me into oil painting landscapes. Mark Carder made me believe it was possible to paint portraits, but I couldn't draw. Then I learned of the Loomis method/planar head about a year ago and faces practically draw and shade themselves. now they're all coming together. My 9 year old also LOVES drawing so I'm teaching her the stuff I learn and we draw together. Sometimes she watches videos and teaches me new stuff. It's, as she says, legitness.
This video series has been really helpful... I like that you include the reference pictures. I was hopeful that the complete series would be available. Wonderful and insightful video's. You're a good teacher.
Even though I’m trying to learn how to draw a house because I want to be a house designer, you really improved my art and I am looking forward to what you post, thanks for the nice tip and tricks
This has made my life so much freaking better! Like i used to draw my noses a certain way but I was always disatisfied with it. But after watching this, bdndnnf so happy!
the actual nose drawing part of the tutorial starts at 4.19. (i get the length due to monetization etc., so no complaint, just for other watchers) thanks for the tutorial!
Thank you so much for this! Noses are always tricky for me but you've shown me a simple and effective way to do it. I'll definitely be watching your other videos!
THIS WAS SOOO HELPFUL omg...Thank you so much!! Watching both this and Sinix's video on noses in conjunction has completely leveled up how I draw noses! Great video!
Me: *Sketching noses in my sketchbook bc I want to practice bc I don’t usually put noses on my drawings and I want to change that* Sis: Whatcha doing? *Sees sketch* Me: *realizes how weird drawing noses by themselves must look*
I swear. I almost watched lot of semi-realistic noses videos on youtube. No one ever explained like you do. thank you so much ♥️♥️♥️😭😭. if its possible could please please make a nose shading video !??
Hello hope you’re doing well I love this series please can you continue with this series and also the facial expressions you talked about please .. thank you
Thanks for this tutorial. I might have to watch it a few times as I am not really getting it, but I like your end result so I will persevere. I really need to buy the book I think!
I watched this few months ago and didn't like it, found it not clear enough and didn't understand it. I drew a lot since, worked on fundamentals and geometric forms a lot then when I watch it again it suddenly become clear and sooooo easy. I'm confuse but thanks for the video :D
Just want to say thanks for these videos they are very helpful! Is this tutorial series still going to be continued into the 10 part series you mentioned in the first video where it covers lips, hair, expressions, etc?

You draw circle in a unique way.
Respect, my girl.
More of an oval
Probably to show people who complain that they can’t even draw a circle that it doesn’t need to be perfect
