      This has added to my inspiration to live the remaining years of my life living on the Earth's Oceans . Totally concentrating my efforts to observing and recording all that I will see . • @daydreaming6213
      @daydreaming6213  14 днів тому

      Edited in Generations scene and Picard's speech plus its score, a warp drive sound effect when the ships leave upper atmosphere while the saucer is being shown, another OTOY short of Spock but not yet revealing his face (Why would Spock break the 4th wall?), a score from Star Trek: Beyond and an alternate unused track from 2009, ever-so faintly dialogue from 2009 and Into Darkness when Kirk is being sent to that realm where he sees his younger self. (Best if you us good headphones and really get yourself in the space)
      I cut some of the reunion scene down to match Generations score. Left a glimpse of Gary Mitchell's head from yet another short OTOY did, but for visual narrative wanted to serve instead for Kirk's final journey with and through the unknown.

    • @JMFBizzle
      @JMFBizzle 13 днів тому

      @daydreaming6213 Lol. I didn't notice all of that. You should have added dialog in. That would have been cool.

    • @daydreaming6213

      @@JMFBizzle yea I wanted to be subtle, lord knows people/fans will nit-pick. Just takes patience and practice, even some self-discipline to keep things reasonably tight like OTOY did. I've noticed a few other fan edits where it's lengthy, lower quality, or alternative music doesn't fit quite right but happy to see other passionate peoples work. Clearly this is just a hobby to chop things up and edit, not being competitive.

Than watch the original. 2 days later watch your edit....you than will see what i mean...,

      @@chillwalker No, I don't think I did better. OTOY are the geniuses. I chose both Generations Score because this was as a direct continuation, and used Beyonds lil nod to Goldsmiths theme because of the alternative reality timeline jump. Music hits differently for others. I've seen other edits and admire others different choices picking the OG score or literally just adding in each short by OTOY into a nearly 20min vid.
      This was fun to utilize some editing skills, and tug some strings. No disrespect...I'm a full time welder, have very talented orchestral friends aswell, this is just a nice hobby among others.
