This genre in China and Asian countries is called "Wuxia" meaning Martial Arts Fantasy the equivalent in the west would be like Hollywood Western gunplay or superhero movies. They're movie industry have been doing it just as long as Hollywood over 100 years, but their inspiration comes from martial arts novel over thousands of years. When Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon came out it was a big deal to the rest of the world because people have never seen anything like that before but to the Asian audience it wasn't that big of a big deal, they seen this their entire life. Imagine every year Hollywood releases all these superhero movies, over in Asia there's hundreds and thousands of Wuxia movies, series, video games release every year. The analogy would be like eating steak and lobster but eating it every weekend would be too much. Most people would get tired of it. But props you're a real fan. Subscribed!!!

@@IAmJuiceCup Oh yeah, the main character the monkey king is like the Asian mythical god of trickery Akira Toriyama took inspiration and made it into Goku from dragon Ball Z. In Norse mythology there's Thor, in Greek there's Hercules, In Asia there's the Monkey King has all these cool superpowers and was a rebel beating up all of gods and came and was a trash talker. people love him so much because he wasn't your typical honorable warrior and do good two shoes. One of the most badass things he did was went to the underworld and found the book of the dead, this book shows the name of every person that will die but he erases his name from the book and became immortal he became undefeatable in battle. He caused a lot of troubles to all the Gods and Demons. Whole armies and all the strongest gods were sent to capture him, and he single Handly beat them all up. In Asian countries there's millions of books, TVs, video games on The Monkey King.

Bro, this game is a piece of shi*t from what the dev have released so far, including their gameplay. This one and the Where the Wind Meets are just some mobile game, aiming for the mobile player. I don't see any promising future.
I definitely can see where you’re coming from 100% but who knows bro, maybe when it fully releases it could be amazing. I mean some mobile games are really fun. I know a lot of people don’t like mobile games but I don’t think it would hurt to give it a chance if it drops for free 🤷🏾♂️. what’s to lose?
@@IAmJuiceCup I think it's really self-contradictory of the dev, as the gameplay graphic is so nice which clearly means that it's impossible to run on a phone.
@@simonfishOvO thats not entirely true mainly because you dont need the newest phone to be able to run most mobile games, or even game like this coming out. Realistically your phone will not blow up from attempting to even play a game like this. The game is also coming out on console so no need to worry.
