- As promised the reproduction of the Tower of Terror Elevator Control Panel made by Prop maker Donald Dean, now has functional buttons that actually work to open the elevator door in addition to trigger a fire alarm test, and passenger loading spiel. I anticipate in coming weeks that virtually all of the buttons will function to trigger corresponding effects. I also have some really nice visual special effects additions anticipated to the project and hope to have a video showing all of the new and revised effects in an upcoming complete show. Thanks for watching all the little changes and improvements as I simply love to do this stuff!
Looking through all of your progress, this theater is EXTREMELY impressive! I LOVE how you put so much detail into this to make every little thing functional. I would SO create my own if I had the time, and the space. Amazing job overall can't wait to see more videos here!!
Thanks so much! I am glad you enjoy the channel. In the coming months I plan to make some very significant upgrades and additions to the effects. This includes making virtually every button on the elevator control panel be linked to an action or audio file, adding a fiberoptic star effect appear within the theater, and posting a complete show including all of the recently added props such as the Tower Hotel fiberoptic sign, the moving slot machine, lighting onto the elevator dial, modification of the elevator dial arm showing the rapid rise and then plunge of the elevator car to match what happens in the actual TOT and in the show. As someone who is obsessed with DCA Tower of Terror, my holy grail is to find the garden ghost girl audio from halloweentime 2006-2007.
Oh tell me about that. Why is it that u have particular interest in that?
@@theultimatetowerofterrorre301 there's no video or source audio of it. It is considered lost media. My understanding is it was only used during Halloween in 2006 and again in 2007. During those years, DCA Tower of Terror had a Halloween Overlay. There is very little information on the retheme, and almost no videos.

I remember this. I can't say for sure if there is any video of it. There used to be at some point (before I was archiving things). If I stumble on it I will reach out. I do have photos of the decorations from that time from the exterior and lobby however but yeah that audio is lost.
