This Channel will be focused on my decade-long dream to recreate the Disney Tower of Terror basement elevator ride entrance from a standard sliding glass door entrance to my home theater. The project has continually become more ambitious over 5 years and the recreation has expanded to the entire room and even the exterior yard to create an immersive illusion of the Hollywood Tower Hotel. I anticipate 2024 will have the most significant additions for years, so please support this work and subscribe to be notified of updates as they are completed. Updates expected include increased pyrotechnics (done), Infinite star visual effect surrounding Rod Serling (done), a "walking" Talky Tina (done) , Willie doll and Kanamit doll FINALLY rising (done) , and lastly and most significantly an animated elevator motor effect (In progress). Here is a review of a 1500W Fogger made by TCFundy purchased on Ebay for $137.
I compare use of regular ice and dry ice. I was attracted to this fogger due to the price, the fact that either ice or dry ice can be used, and it appeared fairly well constructed. I purchased it as a possible fog machine used in my Tower of Terror recreation project. Should I add this fogger or not? Tell me in the comments

Two new effects being integrated into the multimedia show including the appearance of both the Willie Doll, and a 7 ft tall Kanamit from Twilight zone episodes, and an ultra-compact mister/fogger device was fabricated to enhance the Talky Tina's doll entrance onto the set.

Did your wired remote lights come on soon as you plugged in or once the machine was ready? I just got one and when I plugged the remote in the lights didn’t come on during the first 5 seconds I had it on.
Just ordered one off Amazon. Nice to see a review for it. Hoping it works well enough for me to do first dance at weddings!

What tv is this and how’d you do it
It is a 65” LED TV mounted on the “Fixed” side of a sliding glass door. An acrylic box that has an image of the Disney Tower of Terror elevator door printed on perforated vinyl applied is placed over the TV. This is done for my project to replicate the Tower of Terror. Check out the channel to see the completed project.
It's really difficult to watch your video when you evidently hold it sideways, upside down and down under, like head down looking backward. Had to stop at 4 min..

Just bought this fogger, awaiting fluid, awesome review couldn’t find a demo/ review anywhere. I’ve read duct taping a contracting bag to the output area fills a wider area with space. Will have to try out dry ice how long did that bag last compared to regular ice?
I did not do a timed test. Just my casual impression is that 10lbs of dry ice and 7 lbs of ice lasted for a couple hours at most.

Very cool! I was lucky enough to be with a group back in 2003 who was treated to a private dinner outside the WDW Tower followed by two ride thrus: the standard ride and a second one with all the lights on...and as a complete unexpected bonus, we were told there was no restriction on pictures or filming. No one expected that and I had optimistically brought along my 8mm camcorder and was allowed to record the entire lights on experience with guided tour. I've never released it and I'm hesitant to do so, but man, it's cool!
I am jealous of that experience!
I just found out the price tag for Talky Tina and for that price, she can threaten all she wants but she had better help with the cooking and cleaning!
It might be safer to just hire a REALLY MEAN housekeeper, LOL.

This is so impressive. I’ve never ridden ToT so I didn’t know what to expect and you blew me away with the detail and immersion. Seeing the rain effects made my jaw drop. Great work!
I am almost sad to hear that many people have not gotten to ride on the Tower of Terror which I find is so much fun; obviously it impressed me enough to embark on this crazy project. I wish everyone (at least those not deathly scared of drops) gets to see it at least once, and if that is not possible can at least see the Tower of Terror Theater LOL.
Absolutely incredible build, special creative execution and design. planetary or replicated facade on the exterior separating the projection and below room would be a great future addition.

I was a ride engineer for the ToT in DCA and had the privilege of working on the ToT from design, installation and opening. I am thoroughly impressed with the immersion and the atmosphere you captured in the boiler room. Great job! Love it and makes me miss the original ToT. Truly a passion project and love letter to the ToT.
I saw someone mention that there were multiple drop sequences designed to add in to the DCA Tower for a future update back then, was this true?
@@Rodj12341 the ride was always designed to have options for its vertical ride profile. We had a mini ToT rig that we built to test out the various ride profiles. Great memories.
I am thrilled that you like the recreation. I would love if you are free to share any details or links to details regarding the design, blueprints, etc of the ride. I am hoping to make a 2-4 person Autonomous guided vehicle that can navigate in and out of the set, as well as construct a TOT library in the adjacent garage. The AGV has been the biggest challenge in finding people/know-how to achieve this without a having a Disney budget. Best regards,

@@Rodj12341 unfortunately I have no video of the ride profiles or audio of the ride. Maybe some photos of the rig, but that’s about it. Ride profile programming was admittedly a different team, I was part of the ride mechanical team fwiw.

Yes the movie was pretty good even though the movie did not have a tie-in with the Twilight Zone. Keep waiting for the new TOT movie.
