With nearly 30 years experience of Blackpool, I would advise gloves, warm boots and ear covering for filming on the Prom at this time of year, Lyca.
You've done a good covering of the Ambassador.

Miss Lyca, I feel you will need a long good holiday after the constant filming of this site. You've done overtime and more!!!Unfortunately your holiday, with the presence of Covid, will have to be in Blackpool.. I'm sorry I can't offer you more!!!!!!Best wishes From Ireland.

I wonder how old these buildings are? They must get a battering from the wind coming in from the sea, I'm just waiting for the huge pile of rubble to fall, there it goes. Hope The Rutland haven't got any unexpected rockery appear in their yard.

U just wonder while watching this . How long will it be before all those other hotels need taken down and re developed . As id imagine the basic building structures will all be now in a similar condition as the ambasador was . The sea air and weather kills buildings etc . It may beneift blackpool somewhat if the whole front end got a total re do mind u pakage holidays abroad helped kill places like blackpool as a holiday resort . All uk resorts are in the same boat . That numbers visiting are low pity as in its heyday it was some place from what ive learnt over the years . Soon be illumination time though thats allways nice to see . . Hope ur gd today lyca . Pls take care have a gd day .

I think the Ambassador was neglected for many years and obviously not maintained as it should have been. There could be a good bit of life left in the 'still living' buildings . The still trading buildings. But you are quite right that the environment today relates to a prosperous past.

What was the abuse hurled at you from that passing car? Could it have been misidentification 🗣
