Good question! Most of the time when I shoot during daylight hours I will set my White Balance to Sunny/Daylight. Has I shoot many UA-cam videos and save my photos in jpg/raw format. If I find that Sunny is to cool (blue) I will increase the WB to Cloudy
@@CharlesNPhotography Thanks for your reply. I only shoot in raw but I suspect the same would still apply ie if Sunny provides a bluish tint then increase WB to Cloudy. Please keep up the good work I am learning plenty
@@CharlesNPhotography Thanks. Also, I think you're doing a very good job creating these videos, they are quite cool, one of my favourite in youtube, and you are a nice man. Please keep up the good work, and hello from Russia.
I love cloudy days. They can create some beautiful shots. Severely underrated.

My pleasure! Glad you like it
Very interesting.
Thank you so much
Lots of information here thank you. One question though as a newbie why did you set white balance to sunny when it looked more like a dull cloudy day

Do you use filters for 200-500? 95mm ones are kind of expensive
No! I don't use any filters on my Nikon 200-500mm f5.6, as I've found that using the hood stops any glare or dust going on the lens
