Awesome job by Mike, the entire 35 team, the car owners, the crew, other teams that helped in times of need, and all those behind the scenes folks. Knowing full well how difficult it is to win a Championship, I applaud & salute you all! Mike's comments at the end actually brought a tear to my eye. It's great that he shares the "spotlight" and is so appreciative of the efforts of all those involved. Mike is a true Champion, not only in racing, but in life. Congratulations on winning the Championship at Albany Saratoga Speedway (Malta)!! Glad you pulled it off. While watching the video, I was a bit concerned that you were bogged down, on the inside, and when no cautions came out was happy to see you go up top, back down, and work by a bunch of cars. Fortunately it was enough to drink the champagne! Its been over 40 years ago for me, but your emotions that you explained, of everything that is involved is a hard thing to understand for people that have never done it, but you explained it extremely well. Raced a sports car, traveling all over the northeast, and as far south as Atlanta. That feeling never goes away. Enjoy your victory!!! (And Mandee was correct; the racing community is a terrific community!)
