I was just in Jersey this past weekend racing the 1/10th scale electric version of these cars in Jobstown. A buddy and I came down from Massachusetts hoping to get to go to New Egypt, but we finally got out of qualifying around 11pm. Hopefully next time we race down there we'll get to the track. Thanks for all the great vids, stay safe!

If it was possible, I'd love to see three GoPro shots... The two you show here and one from the grandstand. Would be awesome to see how the cars look from behind the wheel and again from the stands all together at the same time.

Man a few of those cars looked extra fast, Billy is an awesome driver, great job! What style modifieds are these, im newer to the channel, these modifieds look so much different than what runs at most tracks i see.
I know what you mean. This is how it looks to me. I might be wrong (it's been known to happen).
I grew up watching and raced sportsman modifieds in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. They were like super modified racecars back in the 50's - 70's except no fuel injection and a CID limit. The bodies were from of old coupes and sedans and had a straight front axle suspension. As bodies became scarce with time, hand formed bodies were allowed. In the 80's the cars had evolved into fuel injected sprint cars.
Now the modifieds look like the east coast modifieds (D.I.R.T.) but follow the UMP (Unlimited Motorsport Productions) rules and have an independent front suspension instead of D.I.R.T.'s straight front suspention.

Question: What the hell are we racing here? On a galloping horse from 50 yards, I would have said Tobias Sling Shot. On 2nd thought and 2nd look. Negative these are too big.
Too big for sling shot. Too narrow for IMCA modified. McCreary tires with rain tire tread All the way around? That takes the tire tread pattern guess work out. What a relief.
Somebody was running a big block? Why? This low reeving, low HP well muffled quite pooch, sounds like a crate 602. If so, what sort of cu. in. BB size limit or restriction is there?
Is it accepted as common place for the guy lined up from behind to just ram you in the ass multiple times? What's his sexual orientation? The question was asked by the user name "CRASHES." I told the guy you see on the screen to give "CRASHES" my e-mail address. I've since learned the screen face is a low-paid low-grade social media shill. His objective & mission is to discredit and smear me using any kind of negativity. He and his team in the comment section. Bombard me with never ending empty hollow worthless unsubstantiated false accusations. I try to defend myself, against sell-outs without a soul or guilty conscience. This is what they are paid to do. Committing libels and defamation of character with complete impunity. Protected and penalty free.
A guy who should know, sent me a message saying "CRASHES" was never given your e-mail address. He will brake every promise, and use any means, to destroy every shred of integrity you possess. Convincingly informing the public what their opinion and perception of me should be. . Same as MSM has unjustly done to Trump for 4 years.
This bothered me, cause I publicly made a pledge to "CRASHES" with no way of contacting him. So I posted it in the comment section.

1) The Official Rules of Sprint Car Racing - At the moment of caution. Scoring reverts back to the last completed lap.
2) On or about 1997, a revolutionary tare-off came to market that were too good to be true. Enabling a drivers vision to be crystal clear. You can see through 25 of the new better than 2 of old.
3) Reflection of light is just as important as color contrast. Black is a very easy color to see. The hard to see colors are medium brown, medium to dark green, & gold Silver absorbs light worst.

Nothing more frustrating than a caution immediately after passing somebody for position *_(like when Steward passed Ward Jr.)_*
What ever time, laps, or effort you expended are negated. Worse yet, you've showed your hand.
If the guy is worth a damn *_(Ward Jr. was)_* The only certainty you have is what worked before. *WILL NOT* work again. Now, you've got to figure out another way by him.
Stewart *AND ONLY TONY STEWART* had an inherent reason to *SPECIFICALLY LOOK FOR THE BLACK #13*

It's nice to know there are others out there that see what really happened that night. Most brush it off as a dumb kid that shouldn't have been on the track. But if you have been around racing at all one would know it was common place for ward jr to do what he did.

Tony Stewart jacking the throttle is what killed Kevin Ward Jr.
Stewart's big right rear tire grabbed Ward's body like a hot, soft, sticky, spinning giant marshmallow. That would not let go.
Disputing my position under caution. I've had Track Officials walk out on the track, right up to my sprint car as I passed. Pointing their angry finger at me. Then pointing to their ass.
*TRANSLATION* Either I fall in line where I'm being scored. Or they will send me to the rear.
Unhappy with the message. I somehow managed to refrain from jacking the throttle, and killing the Track Official.
Sprint cars do not have power brakes. The brake pedal is an unnatural motion of pushing/sliding it horizontally forward. The taller you are. The harder it is. To the point of painful.
When you climb out of a sprint car, it takes you a few steps to get your normal stride back. Kevin Ward Jr. was => 6 foot. This explains his awkward Studer-step.
