When a competitor's car dives into your groove and complains about thier back-half contact with you... They clearly knew and saw your presence occupying the inside groove on their same-lap earlier way by on the high side. No apology... Just two words. They aren't Merry Christmas, nor Happy Birthday. I didn't see where Mike did anything wrong. He was committed to the bottom. The bottom was open and the other guy came down on Mike. Whether I am watching a race live in person or on a video, I always viewed Mike as being one of the cleanest racers out there. Great videos, as always!!!

I am a big fan of four dirt modified drivers one is your dad. One just passed away too soon. One thing about each is that they are really good people. Got to meet Mike and chat with him at Fulton when he was parking the truck. (Kinda walked in front of him). He took the time to talk with me and is just a nice guy. I even got to tell him about my all time favorite race at Skyline when his dad passed Chuck Ackulis on the last lap. Still envision that race over 30 years ago. 😂... He listened to the whole story. 😮 Anyway Mike's a favorite also because he drives clean. So Mike, as expected, you apologize. Not surprised, Johnson can't carry your helmet. Stay classy and Great video! Loved it! Look forward to seeing you race soon!
I didn’t see that mike did anything wrong, the other guy left the bottom line open and mike filled it, they door slammed it wasn’t like mike just had a bumper in there! More aggressive racing mike!

That stuff happens in dirt track racing. Clearly not intentional on Mike's part. As far as the new merch 👍 Yes ! One other thing. I'd like to hear the story on those hot rods behind the building. Great video, thanks Mandee !
If you drive the middle of the straights and come down to the inside in the corners, don't be a baby if you (Danny Jr.) find another car there at some point. I'd drive that line too if that's where my car needed to be, but I sure wouldn't start a fight because I was driving a risky line and it blew up in my face.
Sorry I missed you guys. Land of Legends is really my only chance to meet you guys and shake your hands. Just want to thank you in person for bringing local dirt track racing into my living room every week.

Top 10 finish not bad. The crew did a great job. From the video you showed while still at the track, it looks like Johnson came down on Mike. You and everyone else, myself included weren't in the car. Maybe Mike did get a little loose, but not by what the video showed. Johnson should just be thankful they didn't both wreck. There was no need for Mike to apologize. Great conversation between cautions with Jim and Mike's sisters. Good luck with the next one. There is also one with your image, but you live & came from Ann Harbor, Michigan and work with the American Cancer Society. Bring out the new "MERCH".👍🏻👍🏻

Good to you there last night at my home track. I took my nephew for his first time and by his excitement I'd say he is a for life. Side note I can keep you guys update on how the weather and track conditions are weeks up to on the series race

I see so many people that don't know how to leave a lane and then blame the person they move over into for getting into them. That is the very reason for 90% of cautions.

I realize many following Team 35 aren't pleased finishing 10th but IMHO a Top 10 is a solid race. It's not a track y'all run often and invading another playground can be difficult. Load it up, shoo away the complainers, and on to Malta!!

So explain something. I’m from the south, and down here you either qualify or run heats. Never both. What does qualifying actually do when also running heats? Btw, the winer after the race came down on Mike! Not the other way around! And if he’s too woosy to deal with contact in a stock car race, send him off to the nearest drag strip! Mike was faultless, and doesn’t need to make excuses!
The hot laps/time sets their starting position for the heat race. The other cars on the track with Mike are all going to be in the same heat race.
@@raollie Ok thanks! My next question is what determines who is in which heat race? I’m in NC, and it’s too hot to go outside, so I’ve chosen to sit in the A/C and worry about this! Lol

Just a question?? Did you pull gear out of put more gear in? Saw / heard the motor you were using it to help slow you down getting in... Just sounded like you had a ton of gear in. Car looked good and as usual you held your line and did nothing wrong, that I saw anyway.

That was absolutely not Mike's fault. Some racers hope that the other driver will back out when the bonsai the corner. It doesn't always happen and they run into people. Unfortunately, that's a part of racing. To me, every driver has to run a racing line. If those lines cross, you get into a interference. Then it's just a racing deal. Mike's line was a racing line.
