I'm new to your channel, and I'm enjoying your reactions. It's so great to see young people enjoy the music I grew up with. The 70's and 80's were such amazing decades to be a kid in. We had so much fun.
Another great tune that came out the same year as this one is "And We Danced" by The Hooters. Its unique and so much fun to dance to. Hope you'll give it a try. P.s. in the video you'll see some guys throwing their friends in a trunk. Back in the 80's thats how we would sneak into drive in movie theaters. At least until they started charging one flat fee for a car load. Then it was like cramming clowns into a VW Beetle. Lol. We got 6 people into my little car once!

Just stumbled across this reaction and your channel. This is one of those songs that as soon as the first note or two is played, almost anyone 40 and up will either lift their head or acknowledge this song! However, I had to go back into your reaction, not to be harsh because as you stated, this was before your time but this is nothing line GNR, GNR was Rock while this is considered a more contemporary or pop rock, more of a Top 40 sound. As far as sounds, the 80s had one of the biggest varieties of music and sound, it wasn't just a genre or list of genres but also many sub-genres as there was also a lot of experimentation due to technology and quite honestly, we all just wanted to have fun!
The acoustic version of this is amazing....its far better. Its from the soundtrack for "Dirty Girl".
