Great video. Thanks for the awesome lesson. One question, what's up with the loud keyboard? Very distracting.

Is anyone trying to install Hops into Blender 4.3 ? I’m finding I can’t and getting an error message.

Because it's not yet updated for 4.3

Using Blender 4.0. Ican install it but CTRL+tilde just brings up the 6 icons on the left, the rest of the square is blank and if I try to use sharps through the q menu I just get an error message.

I use ALT for navigation, as I get terribly tired when pressing MMB... but for many years the developer has never figured out how to call alternatively all the functions he has tied to the ALT button.
But Blender developers could have taught the application to detect the event of a called menu, and not to reserve the ALT key for navigation in case of a menu called to the screen....
Neither has been implemented from 2018 to 2024, so I use these plugins without all the features that require pressing the ALT key. Apparently listening to the “menu called or not” event to control the ALT key action is a programmatically unrealizable task :)

Not sure if i fully understand. But i also use the alt key for navigation. Box cutter has a preserve alt key setting. And in for anything that shows up in a menu with ALT. just hover over it with your mouse hold alt but instead of clicking hit enter on your keyboard. This will allow you to use any alt click functionality in blender well keeping your navigation settings
