Thank you Chronoscapes. I feel there is huge room for improvement, and I''m still working out the kinks with using SpaceEngine and trying to continually improve my sound design. It's a journey for sure! Glad you like this one. Thanks again for stopping by.
Beautiful space ambience. I love the subtle sequences. Just enough to evoke a sense of depth, wonder and mystery. Perfectly paired for travel to Mars and beyond.
Thank you Farstar! Glad you approve, although the algorithm doesn't seem to agree 😅 I'm planning to keep using SpaceEngine for the visuals as I quite enjoy the exploration side of it to accompany my music. Appreciate you stopping by. 🙏💜✨
I'm so happy to hear this, thank you! I'm glad you liked the video. I'll be doing my best to make improvements with the next one as I'm learning more about using SpaceEngine. Thank you again @MindspaceEscape, it really means a lot. 🙏🙏💜💜✨✨
You know my taste, but this music of yours relaxes me incredibly! The pictures are also of the highest quality, my friend, you are really talented. We are jealous of you!🙈🙈🙈 I can't take my eyes off the video while listening to your music, it's so beautiful, well done 🖤🤘
Thank you Bleak!! This means a lot coming from such a talent as yourself! So glad you enjoyed the visuals, it takes quite a bit of time to record and prepare so it's great to know they are worth the effort. 🙏🎵💜✨
Dunes of Mars, floating without a companion, amongst the stars, We have suffered and battled, the scars we still bare, I am just a tiny grain of sand, formulated, from a collision of small rocks and manipulated by the strong winds, somehow I should be a superstar, My host is barren and horribly arid, as the heat in the Arizona Desert pursued another day, We float aimlessly eons and eons of timeless infinity, we have become billions of grains of sand, drifting into emptiness without a cause, Care to look around, we have rocks here, they are known as volcanic basalt, a dark colored rock There are humungeous Dunes on our Planet, and apparently they were all formed with little grains of sand like me, shaped into mounds, as the wind chooses, The atmosphere on our host Mars is very thin, I have been given this information by my elders and ancestors, one day hoping to venture into its historical and geographical framework, Just lying here sometimes in the darkness, and other times in the welcomed light, Ooohhh!!! What does it feel like to be a grain of sand? You may choose to ask, I gaze kindly and compassionately upon my perfectly spherical form, a beauty to behold!!!!
@@StarbaseAmbient Thank you so much, I have been on your Channel before and glad I stumbled upon it. What a wonderful perspective you bring! So happy to have your presence here, it brings light and adds creativity and life to these pieces, and provides me with inspiration and reason for continuing to create them. I very much enjoy creating the pieces which are mostly for myself, but now I'm realising the bigger picture. I want to craft new pieces that are not only for myself but for everyone who is seeking some calm in our stormy lives. Thank you so much again for your beautiful comments🙏🙏💜💜✨✨

@@StarbaseAmbient You are very welcome, thank you for the lovely feedback, creating with passion that sits in the heartspace and the willingness to follow, the trail unfolds into a magical space. I love you were firstly creating for your own enjoyment and now swirling out into another arena. Wonderful to “learn on the go” sets the momentum as you guide your super shuttle!!! 💖😊🫶👍
As someone who enjoys watching videos in almost complete darkness, the bright reflections on the ground, especially in the early minutes, were quite dazzling, even with the monitor brightness almost turned down. It's a shame that sometimes the textures clarity/definition drops when flying too close to the ground or clouds, which could be due to your GTX 1080 😜 or Space Engine, i don't know. Nevertheless, there are some noteworthy shots\visuals and views. The audio track is as relaxing as ever, though I expected a few new elements, but I'm sure you'll surprise me soon... Amazing work as always. And SB I love the thumbnail of this piece. Thank you again for the impressive and fascinating experience! 💜
By the way, one of my subscribers, on my last video, complained about the 30-minute length of my recent uploads. So, I've decided to go back to making 1-hour long videos, at least for now 😁
Thank you DC, always appreciate the detailed feedback! There are some things with SpaceEngine that I still need to work out. I record using what it calls "Photo Mode" which auto adjusts the brightness much like a modern camera. There are some tweaks that can be made in that regard, I'll certainly be playing around with those settings some more. Great to be aware of the effects of maybe bright monitors in a dark room, I should test this in future. I think the clarity is something of a problem with the solar system planets in particular, as these aren't procedurally generated they try to emulate the surface based on real photographs. Looks great from a distance, almost real, but close up it doesn't look so great. However, I think if we visited some exoplanets we'll see some better results based on the procedural generation, so I have my fingers crossed we'll get some better results. Maybe it will look better at a higher res like 1440p! Good news is I'll be upgrading the GPU in the next week or, we'll see if that improves things 🤞 I'll try throw in some more audio surprises next time, we'll see where the creativity takes me next! As always I appreciate the detailed feedback, it really helps! 💜🙏
Ah, I've also had a similar comment on another 30 min video. I thought maybe I'll go to 45 minutes and see if that works. An hour seems like the expected length for the types of ambient pieces we produce, so will likely go back to that. Will need to record more footage 😅 Thank you for the heads up. 👍
@@StarbaseAmbient It's great to hear about your commitment to enhancing the visual and audio elements in your work. The adjustments you're planning to make, especially with the brightness settings and exploring higher resolutions, sound promising for improving the overall experience. The anticipated GPU upgrade should also bring exciting improvements. Looking forward to seeing how these changes enhance the immersive journey in your future videos. Your dedication to refining your craft is truly inspiring. Keep up the fantastic work! 💜
@@StarbaseAmbient If I might suggest, alternating video styles could be engaging, perhaps revisiting formats like "Aurora Dreams" then a deep space cinematic in the next. To add depth, brief synthetic descriptions of celestial bodies or galaxies ( but adding some peculiar info about them), similar to Obsidian Soundfields does in his intros. However, unlike him, I would write something shorter, otherwise only a few would read it. That's All! 💜😁😎
Hey Starbase.. I've been listening to this whilst taking a break from my work. Its like an sonic mind massage! Incredible. totally love it. Btw.. what did you use to create the glitchy titles.? Super artistic, my friend. Back to the music.. Listening with my eyes closed as your music journeys around the inside of my head :D
Thank you @MindspaceEscape! This means a great deal that you decided to spend your downtime listening to one of my tracks and taking in the visuals. I use VSDC for the video editing and it has a glitch effect you can place over the top of the text. Glad you like it!
Very relaxing atmosphere, drifting through the cosmos and goin inside Mars atmosphere. love it. keep up the good work

Very cool, love those shots skimming across the surface with the clouds :) Music goes well with the visuals too :)
