Klim's Induction Pro takes mesh protection and airflow to the next level. Karbonite high-strength mesh makes up the main chassis, with 750D Cordura overlays and a 600D bottom hem with goat leather elbows. Additional features include Karbonite micromesh, 3M Scotchlite reflectivity, and D3O CE level 2 LP2 PRO armor in elbows and shoulders. A D3O Viper CE level 1 back pad is included. The Induction Pro earns a CE AA rating certification (EN 17092-3).

I upgraded my inductions armor over the last 3 years. So no reason to upgrade. Love my jacket

Didn’t mention the Velcro adjustments on the bottom which I believe are not on the standard Induction? An important detail. Nice.

Noticed the same thing with the baggy arms. The extra non-mesh material on the “regular” induction gives it a much more tailored looking fit. Plus the lack of stretch means it’s less comfortable. Miss for me, despite the nice leather.

I wear a large in everything Klim makes, which leaves some space for a base layer. With the new induction pro, even when I sized down to a medium, the arms are way too baggy and the armor flops around. I ended up getting a medium in the regulator induction. The arms are way better. There's still some looseness in the bicep, but it's not egregious, and it fits like a glove on my torso. I can't layer anything, but then again, I never did on the original induction except the rain liner.

Damn I wish I read your comment before I ordered. I got an XL assuming it was like my alpine star running small

@@Shmack_ I know this is an old comment, but do you mind my asking how the XL size is on you when I assume you normally where a Large?

I'd love to see this with a removable membrane foe the rainy days

Funny enough - the original Inductions (non-Pro's) used to come with a cheap WP liner. Apparently everyone (including myself) would remove it and never put it in again so Klim just removed it from the next gen and dropped the price $50 from $400 to $350. Maybe it'll make a come back now that there are two models of Induction, but I'd doubt it.

Ugly colors and designs on a solid frame. Sad.

I love the color. My grandfather said it’s good that everyone doesn’t like the same thing because everyone would have gone after my grandma
