Man I wish I would've had the patience to do the 50/50 to slide transition more before going straight for it. Most of the time I get up there and think that I've only got few box hits before the bottom and having to wait on the lift again so I got impatient and went straight for the slide. Great message here: "You do that as many times as you need to until you just say, ok I'm gonna do the real thing now".
After taking a couple days of doing the 50/50 to slide transition as many times as possible I really feel a lot more confident going straight for it.
It takes time to master snowboarding. Taking small steps like this is the safest approach

Hey, I wanted to ask if you detune your snowboard edges, even between the bindings, for park riding. Also if it is used as an all-mtn and a park board, should I dull the edges? Thanks for the help and tips!
Some people do, but you can just ride a board for a day or two and your edges will be all good!

He wasn’t close to getting front lip. He wasn’t even making it for 50-50. Good instructions though.
