Completely agree, Finn was wrong in the first place for deciding what was best for Rachel instead of talking with her and saying that the wedding wasn't a great idea, he just sends her away like he owns her, and then goes MIA thinking she'll be waiting for him, witch she did for a long time, even after he told her she was free
Here because I’m rewatching glee in quarantine! Haha!! But I saw this episode and thought the SAME thing. He broke up with her! She said “are you breaking up with me?” And he said “I’m setting you free.” Which is a yes to me. Edit: Also, forgot to mention, the only thing that makes me feel good about Finchel this episode is that Rachel breaks up with Finn later on because she doesn’t want to do it anymore. I love them as a couple but I think she was right to stand up for herself and end it with him.

S6 is the most depressing one. It has a goodbye, low tone. I think it was the appropriate way to finish the series, after Cory's death the show was only able to work again with that more melancholy tone
I doubted that everyone's voices were highlighted perfectly. Its not possible to hear Kurt's voice or Fin's voice well when they re singing with Rachel. With Fin, she always sings the higher note as usual,so you hear more Rachel than Fin, and when she sings with Kurt, Kurt uses head voices only, Rachel uses mix, so her voice sounds more powerful that supresses Kurt's voice. I think at one part Rachel and Blaine sings together but the thing that happens again and i almost only hear Rachel only. You can only hear others when Rachel doesnt sing basically. And between 2.40 - 2.50, you can hear everyone equally, other than that its most likely Rachel and her back vocals.

It actually wasn't really acting. Chris couldn't stop crying and had to walk off set for awhile. Once he came back, Darren grabbed his face and said "If you cry, I cry". Chris knows how to channel his emotions to fit the scene. Really extraordinary.
I've realised a couple things re-watching this scene: 1: Kurt is the one we feel most bad for since he's the only one who doesn't do anything wrong here 2: Blaine is a hypocrite 3: I felt bad for Finn but now I realised that if he was ignoring Rachel then I can't blame her for what she did (although that doesn't make it any less sad for the future of their relationship)
Skimming through the comments I read somewhere that Kurt kind of never listened to Blaine, even when he tried to tell him that he feels alone and stuff. So, actually, they all did their part. A relationship needs two persons.

And yes, maybe Blaine really wanted Kurt to go to accomplish his life goals. The problem is: You can say, you want someone to accomplish something or support and push them to take their chances. But that does not mean you realize the impact it can have on you. Maybe you think you can deal with it, but you never really thought about the consequences. I don't say, Blaine and Kurt shouldn't have broken up before and that it is okay for Blaine to cheat. They needed the break-up to grow and become individual characters. All I am saying is: Blaine is really insecure and without guidance in that point of the show and he acts on his fears and feelings like a scared little boy. And while Blaine is lost, Kurt is actually finally starting to get his life together.
Except from "the Quarterback" this was the episode I cried the most while watching it. I did feel like it was necessary, though. Especially the Kurt CoBlaine breakup needed to happen, so they would realised how it was impossible for them to stay broken up.
Although I think Kurt/Chris was entitled to be the most pissed in this because Blaine cheated on him and you can see him be so emotionally numb that it’s heart breaking. Finn (Rip😭) literally just left Rachel all alone and didn’t call or text her for 4 months like what was she supposed to do? He doesn’t have the right to be THAT pissed. Rachel should be the one who’s more pissed. Anyway thanks for reading my rant.

Season 3: Blaine is upset and Whitney Houston’s Kurt, based on the feeling Kurt cheated on him because he confided in someone that wasn’t him emotionally because lacked the key thing in a relationship communication. Season 4: Blaine decides to be a hypocrite in completely forgetting how hurt he was when Kurt emotionally cheats on him. As a result he then decides to one up him by physically cheating because once more there relationship lacked the key things needed to keep them a float communication and loyalty. Noticing a pattern here
i feel like it’s just for the look and feel of the scene. because there are a few options besides kicking them out... couch, makeshift floor “bed”... even just swapping so finn bunks with kurt and blaine with rachel
I love this scene as the editing and acting is so good. It did made me sad, but the actors did a great job. I feel sorry for Kurt, but I somehow knew that Blaine would cheat on him eventually. I still love them together
This glee song is so well done and underrated, like if you notice they put focus on each person's voice or two peoples' voices in different parts of the song. When Blaine and Kurt sing the don't speak part Blaine sings it a lot softer so you can heart Kurt's voice. And the song lyrics were very fitting for this occasion
The Quarterback I cried the same to both episodes a little more to this one. The thing is Blain actually cheated on Kurt there for Kurt has every right to be mad at Blain. But Finn broke up with Rachel at the train station. The thing is Finn did not answer his phone but Blain and Kurt they stayed in touch with each other unlike Finn and he did not answer to any of Rachel’s text messages or phone calls. There for Finn has not right to be mad at Rachel.

I’m in love with the shots in this song here are some examples. 1:15 It’s a wide shot of Blaine emphasizing how alone he feels. 1:54 I mean come on. That’s just amazing. 2:07 Finn is sitting on the bed and the two curtains (I think they’re curtains?) make it look like he’s in a box, trapped. Also emphasizing how alone he is. 2:30 Even though the sheets and pillows are the same color the couples pajamas aren’t and it makes a good contrast. Kudos to whoever directed this.

Blaine was wrong, but Kurt always spoke about himself and didn’t pay attention nor listened to Blaine. He DID something wrong and actually made a huge mistake (even though I think it’s a little out of character for Blaine as he would never do that, but it was necessary for the plot to give drama and reality to the couple as you can’t always be happy), but it’s not like Kurt was there for him either. It was all about him, and when Blaine tried to talk he always interrupted him or didn’t give attention to what Blaine was saying. They both are in the wrong for how they behaved, even tho Blaine is more in the wrong as he cheated.
Rossella Aurora That’s my point, though though. While Kurt had his own shortcomings in the relationship, nothing EVER excuses cheating in one that is in its general sense healthy. If Kurt was also cheating or outright, plainly verbally or physically abusing Blaine, he can cheat all he wants. But He wasn’t. He was just being self absorbed and not communicating. Like you said, common kind of problem in relationships. Implying that it’s not as bad that he cheated or trying to victim blame in a subtle sense, though I’m sure isn’t what you’re trying to do, isn’t soemthing that should be applied to this situation. He cheated- He went behind Kurt’s designer vest clad back and fucked another man. Cheating often gives the victim a sense of self hate- and while this self loathing could and in some ways did help Kurt to see what was wrong in the relationship, it would also leave a lasting mental scar. Constant worries of trust and “is this good enough? Am I and my body good enough?” Especially since the cheating was sexual. Sexual cheating can lead to physical esteem problems, leading to questioning ones attractive appeal in the eyes of their partner and sometimes feeling like they have to change appearance aspects of themselves. Cheating should never be played (in this context) as a two party fault thing when comparing common relationship issues and cheating. While I’m glad the show was honest in the idea that every relationship is different and while cheating is a red flag, the victim ultimately decides whether they want to risk that betrayal of trust again. Kurt decided too and while it was rocky, it worked out. But cheating is a one party decision in this case and not comparable to relationship problems that many have in good ones rather than cheating which many have in terrible ones! I value your view, however :)
Even though it breaks my heart, Kurt and Blaine needed to breakup at some point in the show so that we could see and they could understand that they can't live without each other. Just like when Blaine moves to NY and has to move out, they need to be apart for a bit to come out stronger.
I’m still pissed at Blaine for this and always will be as much as I love him but him running after Kurt when Kurt goes to the fountain warms my heart for some reason- he genuinely feels regret and hates that he hurt Kurt. He’s not ready to let him go, hence Kurt half walking half running away and Blaine following closely behind in every shot except for the last one at the fountain
I know some people believe Blaine and Rachel are very similar in terms of their personalities and relationships but I believe Rachel is better than Blaine as she is willing to admit her mistakes and take responsibility and try to fix them unlike Blaine who blames others for his actions like here where he blames Kurt for him cheating and as shown in their relationships with Kurt Rachel is shown to be the better person than Blaine as she helps him during the second season so he doesn’t feel lonely all the time and she also gets suspended for him
Personally, I just love how visible the insecurities of Blaine are. He sorta ruled his highschool life, but being on his own without guidance turned him into an insecure little boy, who just acts on fear and instincts.
Blaine has a lot of problems that Glee never got any chance to focus on because they were so focused on Rachel (I SAID IT!) The only time we got any true focus on Blaine's insecurities was in the season 5 episode Tested, unfortunately to some Blaine just comes off as whiny, instead of a person with actual insecurities, depression, and probably other things to

I think, Mike could have been focused on a little more. They kept hiding him in the back most of the time, although he is a great dancer. To be fair, he sometimes came off as a bit... too comedic, but what else was given to him? The episode where his mother caught him dancing was honestly so sweet and beautiful. Most characters didn't get enough character development, just because the focus was very much on just Rachel and Finn. And Mr. Schuster, I guess. But I won't complain about that, even though he had many of the most awkward scenes in the entire series, imo xD

@@williamgriskell7752 Blaine was the only one who cheated in plot line of season 4. She cheated once in season 2 and no one excused her for that. She also apologized and worked to be his friend and build trust again. Finn then took away her agency and ghosted her for months. No reason to lie.

Season 3: Blaine is upset and Whitney Houston’s Kurt, based on the feeling Kurt cheated on him because he confided in someone that wasn’t him emotionally because lacked the key thing in a relationship communication.
Season 4: Blaine decides to be a hypocrite in completely forgetting how hurt he was when Kurt emotionally cheats on him. As a result he then decides to one up him by physically cheating because once more there relationship lacked the key things needed to keep them a float communication and loyalty.

The Quarterback I cried the same to both episodes a little more to this one. The thing is Blain actually cheated on Kurt there for Kurt has every right to be mad at Blain. But Finn broke up with Rachel at the train station. The thing is Finn did not answer his phone but Blain and Kurt they stayed in touch with each other unlike Finn and he did not answer to any of Rachel’s text messages or phone calls. There for Finn has not right to be mad at Rachel.

Blaine was wrong, but Kurt always spoke about himself and didn’t pay attention nor listened to Blaine. He DID something wrong and actually made a huge mistake (even though I think it’s a little out of character for Blaine as he would never do that, but it was necessary for the plot to give drama and reality to the couple as you can’t always be happy), but it’s not like Kurt was there for him either. It was all about him, and when Blaine tried to talk he always interrupted him or didn’t give attention to what Blaine was saying. They both are in the wrong for how they behaved, even tho Blaine is more in the wrong as he cheated.
Rossella Aurora That’s my point, though though. While Kurt had his own shortcomings in the relationship, nothing EVER excuses cheating in one that is in its general sense healthy. If Kurt was also cheating or outright, plainly verbally or physically abusing Blaine, he can cheat all he wants. But He wasn’t. He was just being self absorbed and not communicating. Like you said, common kind of problem in relationships. Implying that it’s not as bad that he cheated or trying to victim blame in a subtle sense, though I’m sure isn’t what you’re trying to do, isn’t soemthing that should be applied to this situation. He cheated- He went behind Kurt’s designer vest clad back and fucked another man. Cheating often gives the victim a sense of self hate- and while this self loathing could and in some ways did help Kurt to see what was wrong in the relationship, it would also leave a lasting mental scar. Constant worries of trust and “is this good enough? Am I and my body good enough?” Especially since the cheating was sexual. Sexual cheating can lead to physical esteem problems, leading to questioning ones attractive appeal in the eyes of their partner and sometimes feeling like they have to change appearance aspects of themselves. Cheating should never be played (in this context) as a two party fault thing when comparing common relationship issues and cheating. While I’m glad the show was honest in the idea that every relationship is different and while cheating is a red flag, the victim ultimately decides whether they want to risk that betrayal of trust again. Kurt decided too and while it was rocky, it worked out. But cheating is a one party decision in this case and not comparable to relationship problems that many have in good ones rather than cheating which many have in terrible ones! I value your view, however :)

Even though it breaks my heart, Kurt and Blaine needed to breakup at some point in the show so that we could see and they could understand that they can't live without each other. Just like when Blaine moves to NY and has to move out, they need to be apart for a bit to come out stronger.
I’m still pissed at Blaine for this and always will be as much as I love him but him running after Kurt when Kurt goes to the fountain warms my heart for some reason- he genuinely feels regret and hates that he hurt Kurt. He’s not ready to let him go, hence Kurt half walking half running away and Blaine following closely behind in every shot except for the last one at the fountain

Personally, I just love how visible the insecurities of Blaine are. He sorta ruled his highschool life, but being on his own without guidance turned him into an insecure little boy, who just acts on fear and instincts.
Blaine has a lot of problems that Glee never got any chance to focus on because they were so focused on Rachel (I SAID IT!) The only time we got any true focus on Blaine's insecurities was in the season 5 episode Tested, unfortunately to some Blaine just comes off as whiny, instead of a person with actual insecurities, depression, and probably other things to
@@beccagregory3586 yeah, there is more to Blaine. I never understood the focus on Rachel. She was honestly so... MUCH. And Blaine wasn't the only one who fell flat. I think, Mike could have been focused on a little more. They kept hiding him in the back most of the time, although he is a great dancer. To be fair, he sometimes came off as a bit... too comedic, but what else was given to him? The episode where his mother caught him dancing was honestly so sweet and beautiful. Most characters didn't get enough character development, just because the focus was very much on just Rachel and Finn. And Mr. Schuster, I guess. But I won't complain about that, even though he had many of the most awkward scenes in the entire series, imo xD
