I have a few packs and my go to pack is Zpacks Arc Blast. I get your point though; it may be a little heavier than my Blast but i am sure it carries great. I have a Granite Gear 38L that I also love. It's a about 2.5 or so. It's easy just to focus on weight but when it comes to backpack how it carries day after day, week after week really matters. Nice review. Thanks
I watched the whole thing because i felt bad that you only have 24 subs. Just a tip, backpack videos are better when you show whats in it. We all know the basics of a pack, they are the all the same. Lemme rub that head though, give you a like.
Thanks for the review...just subbed I had a question umaybe able to help with...i currently have a 55liter pack and looking to upgrade and shed som weight....most of my trips the 55 liters is more than enough space and during warmer seasons, its alttle too much space....during some winter trips and certain other ones its JUST enough....i was trying to decide on either the miraposa 60 liter or the gorilla 50 liter packs....my question was if i got the 60liter and on a trip where i dont need that much space at all, does it compress well, to keep things tight and not sliding around? Thanks again!
It does a good job of compressing vertically. With the help of some shock cord attached to the side loops I can see it compressing it's width well enough. That said, without some way of holding your gear in place with the bag on a low fill things will slide to the bottom and unbalance the load. I have had this happen. With some effort in packing strategy and some lightweight shock cord that gossamer gear sells I believe a balanced (compressed) load would be possible to an extent that would allow it to carry less gear comfortably. Thanks for checking us out and for subscribing!
We will be going over what we take on each adventure in our Packing Day videos. We have a new one for a mystery destination coming out in a couple of weeks!
Nice review. Bought this pack more than a year ago. I love it.

I just ordered one and found this video is incredibly helpful! I’m also going to put the elastic band to the front pocket. That’s nice!

Excellent and thorough review! What’s in the pack?
😂, we stuffed it with some towels! We have a packing day video coming soon and will cover what we actually took with us on our last trip. 😁

Question: where’s everyone getting the blue bungee for the front pocket?

@@Expedition_Hemispheres You’re the best!
Good review.
Glad you enjoyed it
What abt the pack interior large compartment? Is that only accessed via the top fold over opening?
The large compartment is only accessible from the top. Yes. Thanks for watching!
Laptop section?
No dedicated laptop section. This pack is specialized for hiking. That said almost any laptop would easily fit inside.
Thanks for watching!
Who is this guy, so handsome!
It's me. 😉
