    Series Description:
Oh yes... its that time of the year again. Christmas songs start to pop up everywhere and time to give some gifts is quickly coming. Last year around this time, I made my free architectural asset course, so I thought - why not make a new series. And I did! So, in this one, I will show you how to make a helmet like this in Blender and Substance Painter, from modeling, to UVing, exporting to Substance Painter, texturing the asset and rendering it back in Blender.
    Chapters:
    0:19 Reference
    2:47 Modeling the Base Shape
    8:14 Edge Topology
    11:28 Refining the Base
    12:58 Refining the Front

A tip for anyone that had my issue, when I added the round cube it was a literal cube with round edges. I had to change the operator settings on the bottom left (or you can press f9, by default, to bring it up) I just had to change Radius to 1. Hope this helps. One other thing you need to do is change the pivot point to 3D CURSOR in order for the scaling of vertex with proportional editing to work the same way as in the video @ 5:05

Did they change the "round cube" now its just a cube that isn't spherical but cube... with rounded edges.

You need to select the faces. Your selection is on vertices mode, change it to faces mode.
