Chris, I think it's good that you repeated several times the Philippines is not a hookup culture.. guy's really need to understand that. But if you want beautiful traditional women with strong family values and a beautiful country to explore the Philippines is the best place. Great video Brother..
@@yoojin-oi8ij yes right! ive lived in Korea for 14.5 years and Japan for 4 years previous to that .. ive been to the Philippines many many times .. i love the Filipino people .. and there ARE many beautiful women there HOWEVER, the ratio of extremely attractive young women in Korea far exceeds that of the Philippines .. yes you can charge that this is just an opinion .. but if you've been to both countries it's very easy to argue this as an objective fact ..
Well said, def agree. Love seeing these types of expats in the Philippines 🫡 lol I’m just an American that’s loves the Philippines; hoping to live there one day 🙌🏼
So much respect Chris 👊. I recently visited the Philippines and fell in love with the people and place immediately. My wish is to move there in four years, or that's what I tell my peeps, two years is my personal goal. Hope to meet you one day.
I've been in the Philippines for a year and I'm glad you emphasize the conservative culture of the Philippines , other UA-camrs mislead their viewers with pictures of Fillipinas in thong bikinis under waterfalls. Fillipinas are conservative and shy ,go to any beach and majority of Fillipinas are wearing long sleeves and shorts and aren't open to instant hookups
Hi Chris, a Filipina here. I truly appreciate how you depict us as a culture of people with values. I love how you have presented our country and somehow you have also changed my perspective about US guys, I meant that as a compliment. Good luck with your stay here in our beautiful country, it's not perfect but it's home for most of us Filipinos.
I can tell that your parents have raised you well and instilled a very good moral values and respect in you. I fully respect your conservativeness. I’m now one of your subscribers.
The 4 Filipinas I've dated (in 3 yrs) have all been the nicest girls I've ever met! And yes, definitely not hook up culture, conservative morals, family values . They talk about God's will for their mate & are looking to get married quickly. They seem almost like they'll marry anyone, just to get married (if you saw me, you'd understand).
@@Adriel_HD bruh that the natural way. Europeans went around screaming about beauty standards where outside the world they haven't infected a dope person or compatible person is just that.
It is so true with the age gap, I am not sure if I can say this on behalf of the many Filipinas, but for myself I would prefer somebody older. I am sure you will find the one there, Chris, you are a nice guy I can tell!
I keep going back and forth between Philippines, Thailand or even Malaysia and Indonesia. I will have to experience each to make a decision but as a non drinker or partier these days, PH seems more my speed.
I hear you. Lots of options. No question. Keep your inquiry. I think I looked a good year before really narrowing it down the Philippines and then another several months picking the city. I would be interested in your thought process to as things progress . Best of luck to you and thanks for watching and commenting. Really appreciate it
@@CarefreeChris Will do. My big determining factors right now are cost of living and a relaxed/friendly culture. I'd like to get back into scuba and PH is definitely a great place for that. Keep up the great work!
topic idea: How do you feel now about what you shipped from the US. What should you have shipped and what should you have left home. Talk more about the process and psych barriers you experienced in downsizing and what you would tell your year-ago self on this topic (I'm going through this now.)
Heyyy Chris... Great post. I was in Cebu just before coming across your channel. (I may relocate there myself.) My girlfriend is half my age and I agree with you about the initial feeling that "this is wrong." I have adjusted my own perspective. She's great. Never asks for money but on some level there's definitely the thought that I will bring her added security, the wisdom of my extra years, and knowledge of the world from the perspective of someone well traveled. However, she never asks for money. She will go out of her way to NOT bring money into our relationship (even her family says they aren't like that, they just want their daughter to be happy). That doesn't mean there aren't issues at times. There's an adjustment in that I am accustomed to sharing with a prospective partner business ideas/strategies, but in truth in my case she wants to defer to my decisions, knowing her experience is substantially less "tuned". She doesn't really even desire to be included in decisions; she just wants to know we'll be okay and she instead finds ways to save money and seek ways she can fill holes in my life. That's a truly surprising perspective for me, but one I am learning makes a lot iof sense (I will always involve her as much as she desires). Re hookup culture... Agreed. Other places more prepared for that. But in the cities AND in some provinces hooking up is possible. I feel the younger city women are enjoying a sort of sexual awakening. Some want a less oppressed experience, a lot looking for short- or long-term support. $$$. Certainly less true in the provinces, where gossip and reputation are intense. But there ARE families who allow daughters to use whatever means possible to capture a foreigner. Lots to say about that. Anyway, great vid. In time you will improve your utility value but now you're someone people are considering how they want to define. You come off as a decent, genuine guy. I would say that's more important than anything to start. Hoping to get back soon (June?). Will look you up when I do.
Wow. Thank you so much for writing all that out and I hear you. Some unexpected things as I’m learning this new culture. I’m really loving it so far though. Yes, please look when you’re back here. My email address is under the about tab. Take care there and thanks again
@@CarefreeChris My pleasure. As an aside (for now) I come from the professional publishing world and am trying to think through how/whether to unite multiple vlogs for economic value and how to make content creation/cooperation part of a network to accelerate views/value and reduce repetition. nice skell you know so much about filipina and family culture here @chris , just remember younger girls be it filipina or not, are all looking for stability and security.. lastly, filipinas here arent conservative! dont be fooled! 😂 they are just wary or intimidated by other cultures. just be urself.. as they say, you cant get what ya dont ask for
My friend has caregivers who are from the Philippines. When I visit my friend’s mother the caregivers always want to talk with me about the Philippines (my friend tells said caregivers that i am retiring to the Philippines). One of the ladies tells me that her and her husband like to count the retired expats who are coupled up with the twenty some pinoys. I asked if having a young girl is frowned upon. The short answer is yes and no, lol. The good is her family gets a boost economically, some of the bad is she looks at it as a mostly transactional relationship. Just an anecdotal account.
Chris, I've been meaning to comment on your latest video. As a Filipina, most of us were raised differently. Speaking for myself, I was taught to be "mahinhin" which means, to be refined, educated, modest, gentle, kind, polite, to be "clean", and that meaning can be physical, mental & spiritual. I am married to a Caucasian man, a rancher here in Texas - I know, sounds so cliche but he recognized that I was not like a lot of women he'd met. But that doesn't mean we'd allow any form of abuse. We're also taught to be strong. In the old days, you have to ask the Father's permission to even speak to the daughter. You can't just say "hello" to her unless you want some form of a protest from the men in the family. In today's times, any men/boy who wants to court the daughter will still need the parent's permission only if she comes from that type of family. A lot of Filipinas are westernized and have become a little loose, in Filipino standards. Now, about the Angeles City girls/beer bar girls or something like that, forgot the name, there are plenty out there. As you know, Philippines is still a developing country and many girls/women know that it's a way out of poverty to be with a foreigner. It's sad. But, if men/boys want that, there are places for that. Just be careful of getting disease, robbed or beaten up or worse. Thanks again Chris for acknowledging our culture. God bless.
Compared to the options we have in the United States, I would take my chances with a Filipina any day. I hope to be living in the Philippines before the end of the year. As in all relationships, you have to have common sense and good chemistry. I do like that Filipinas seem to be more conservative and definitely more feminine. I think only in the Philippines would I consider getting married again. So I certainly hope I can find the right Filipina. I think my chances are very good. As far as the age difference, I am 62. If I had the opportunity for a young wife, l would have any problem with that. I think the expectation levels between a wide age gap have to be made very clear before getting too serious. This is to avoid any unhappiness or unrealistic expectations.
Where do I find your email sir? There are other questions I will have before moving to the Philippines. It's always good to have an ally and potentially a friend
I'm 61 and my Thai girlfriend is 30 and gorgeous. She has been wonderful. If you want to date younger, it is definitely possible in both PI and Thailand. This is completely opposite from the US where it's hard to date much more than 10 years younger, 15 max.
Hi Chris! Thanks for sharing! I had a question about how you removed the selfie stick from your video? Is that a built in AI thing on your phone or some post production software?
@@CarefreeChris Yes it is, how is it done? I've never seen that before, except in some of the new google phone ads - but that was for pictures, not video?
Just found your channel and I'm kinda binge watching. Filipinos are always interested to see foreigners reaction about our country because we're kinda curious. I'm curious to see if filipinos you've interacted with shows the traditional culture and values we were taught because there are westernized filipinos out there. We always love to hear that foreigners are liking our country, we take pride of that.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate you watching:) I do more interaction with Filipinos too and people ask for that kind of stuff. It’s a little challenging with the audio but I’ll make it work. Thanks again and amping:)
I'm an American that has lived here 30+ yrs and speak the language fluently and understand the culture listen to this man because he knows exactly what he's talking about. There are many Vloggers on UA-cam boasting about how easy it is to get girls here, etc. They are full of crap anyone can find a prostitute anywhere in the world you don't need to come here, however this man is correct about how women are they are mostly looking for sincerity this is a Christian nation girls hair mostly conservative. Yes we have prostitution, but are you gonna fly to this country? Spend all the money for sex you're crazy you save your money if you stay home just because a girl here is nice to you doesn't mean they want to sleep with you. TRUST ME I live here folks
Thank you. I’ve met so many gentlemen lately with the wrong expectations and the wrong approach that I had to make this video. I really don’t have anything wrong with finding short term companionship, and there are just better places to go for that if the objective is such. Thanks again for commenting
nice vlog Chris. My first time watching your vlog, and I liked your down to earth and serene attitude towards the philippine culture in dating. Yes, most of the girls in the Philippines are very family orientated, religious, and shy. If you want a serious relationship with a filipina, you must meet her parents, then you may go out. It's their way of life. If all you want is to date multiple girls, then Manila area is about the only place you'll find them. I'm moving there in February, and am "not" looking for a partner. I just want to relax and enjoy what the islands have to offer. I'm retired, 73, go to the gym, walk 3-4- miles every other day, and eat right. So I'm in good shape (so far). My daughter in-law (filipina) says I look like I'm only maybe 60. My aim is to start in Cebu, then after awhile, move around to see other places in the islands. I am looking forward to enjoying the rest of my life in leisure. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your future vlogs.
Great video and thanks for establishing the type of image most western men thought otherwise of Philippines women. Also, can help but to ask what time of camera are you using..? Thanks
No problem and thanks for watching. As far as my equipment I get that question a ton since it's really unique. Here's a link to a video I did on my equipment ua-cam.com/video/6PRs2_QOG7w/v-deo.html

After meeting with several other foreigners and talking about this topic they all shared a common theme which is how it's not a hookup culture. Hope this helps folks. Take care there man and thanks for your support. Really appreciate it
I live in Cebu City and IMO, after the second or third date the girl wants to move in with me. But I haven’t found the right girl yet. I am looking for someone who is a nurse, banker, business owner ect, 23-28 years old with no children.
I don't think that it's going to be that easy because there's a big chance that these women are already in a long term relationship/engaged with their high school/college sweethearts or with someone they met at work etc.
I personally, am very much against “dating” and “hookup”-culture. As in “I have to date as many persons as possible, to increase the chance to meet the right one”
That’s something I’ve never really been good at myself. I find it exhausting and confusing. I also believe in to each their own, and if that’s what someone wants to do that’s their choice.

Chris, I wonder if there is a video where you share your background and why you stay there 4 months out of the year. You did say in your video something about staying for 4 months. I would like to know how you chose the place you live. Is that a condo complex or Airbnb? I would just like to know more if you could point out one of your videos or just make one. Thank you
I really enjoy the Philippines. Only missing connection with other foreigner friends. I always end up with a girlfriend full-time. Are there groups to join in cebu to make it home. Regards Charles
Spot on Chris. You're like me in many regards. I'm 57 and I'd also have a huge mental block when it comes to 20-25 year olds. It does seem very wrong and I can't understand why so many guys are perfectly comfortable with that in their 50's, 60's, and sometimes 70's. Sure we all still love the fit 20-25 year olds with their tight bodies and great looks, but I don't think I could ever go there myself, even if it is kinda accepted in PH.
@@CarefreeChris Exactly, and I have. But even before my Daughter I wouldn't have done it either. Back in the day (70's or 80's) it would have been borderline criminal and so so shameful, and that kind of feeling never really left me.
I'm 57 and I struggle with this as well. We only feel its wrong because that's how we were raised in the western world. All throughout history older men would be with younger/much younger women. And although we are much older than a 20 year old, they would much prefer us over one of their own because the majority of Filipinos are drunks, gamblers, lazy and domestic abusers. Yes, I've been to the Philippines and married an Filipina ( We are divorced now. ) so I know. Yet, it still bugs me...
@@buyerofsorts Yet millions and millions of Americans idolized Hugh Hefner I would know I grew up in the United States. Look Folks I've lived here 30+ yrs it's a different culture don't judge live your own life the way you want. You should see how we treat our elderly here or the strengthen her family oriented values.
I feel what you are saying about young women. There is an age that to me is just not mature enough for me. Women your age over there that are single likely don't show interest outwardly towards you because of the assumption that a guy like you is going to be getting women much younger. Great video location. Keep giving updates man! I have to live vicariously through guys like you until I can get out. Target date: 1/2024. I'm working a plan.
You’re right about the older women not to bother flirting with Chris Michael, because we would all think that male foreigners come to the Philippines to hook up with younger women but now after watching this video, i have a whole lot of respect for you Chris, hope you find the right filipina..
I think May-December relationships work if both are willing to meet halfway in terms of lifestyle, pursuits, etc. But just remember that the bigger the difference, the more effort you need for you to click or jive with each other. Just my 2-cents worth.
15 years would be my cutoff. I'm the kind of guy that thinks long term, and the reality is a 60 year old is going to leave his 25 year old wife a widow in her 40's and probably alone for the rest of her life.
I think only the younger ones are single since we date to marry. Most women over 30 are already married and we stick to our partners for better or worse. Marriage is for life here because our country is largely Catholic and there's no divorce here. I met my husband in my 20's and were still together heading to our 40's. Although, you're right, in the bigger cities there are women that do hookups if you're into that. Not everyone is conservative and traditional here but a large portion of the population is.
That make sense. Most over 30 are already married and divorce isn't something people do here. Really appreciate your comment and it's helpful in me understanding the dating culture.
its in the works right now actually......you'll have the same divorce laws as the west in 1-2 years, mark my words, the "younger" generations live and want to live like they're in LA or NY or MIami lol.....monogamy in itself is not that natural, but thats a story for another time ;)
Younger women have less baggage. Get over the guilt. Met my girl at 24. In December, she turns 26. No marriage ever. My assets make marriage dangerous.
How have you evolved the insights? From talking with people and synthezsizing? Observing, somewhat quietly, and getting a measure of the culture. What are your days like? Wandering to other neighborhoods? Sitting and processing? Without making mistakes, you've evolved a lot in four months. The bloggisphere may overcompensate in the "redemption" angle of moving to the PH. "No matter where you go, there you are" hits tone. Thanks for the tech video a few days ago.
Yeah, my insights come from various way. Some of it just watching and speculating as well my own experiences. I’ve met a lot of people through this channel now, and getting a lot through them as well.
It was difficult for me to adjust seeing the age differences when I first visited so it took some time to leave my western mindset behind coming from the vast sexual wasteland (USA). If you take your time and choose wisely, you can find an amazing filipina. It certainly is not a hook up culture unless you're like me and travel to Angeles City but believe me it gets old quick.
I'd say you probably prefer ladies close your age. You can always find good conversative Filipina here in the Phils close your age, but they maybe not be that flirty compared to younger ladies. Anyway, more power to your Channel. Looking forward to more interesting stuff/topic to discuss. Tnx!
You know, I don’t really have first-hand experience on that, but I have heard the same. I was married long enough to know that the silent treatment is sometimes a blessing in disguise. :-)

Yeah, I would be happy to meet up in September when you’re here. My email is under the about tab and you’ll need to view from a PC. I haven’t really dug into my budget, but most folks say between 2 and 3000 USD is the ideal and I would agree.
We’ll take your time especially women in the province usually they want commitments / marriage after having relationships with each other; maybe when you find a girl don’t commit yourself until you are sure about the girl or sure about yourself…enjoy and have fun in the Philippines…
There's an extreme amount of pressure on teenage girls to not be virgins in my opinion in America.. I felt extreme pressure and even ridicule as a young teenage virgin.
Hey too thank you so much for your donation at the end of the live. I caught that just as things ended. I didn't get an opportunity to thank you then but recognized you here now and wanted to say thank you.
I think think women your age grew up in a different culture that was more reserved, and conserved. They were not exposed to the internet and have their minds opened up to how things are outside of the Phil. The younger women grew up with the internet and had been exposed to soooo much. Some women in their 20s have a different take on life, dating, are not as reserved as previous generations, and some now are open to hookups.
Social media is causing the changes in younger girls in the Province…they are not so INNOCENT anymore. I agree, the women in their late twenties and older, grew up so differently and are more CONSERVATIVE! Now, if you go to Manila it’s all about hookups, where money exchanges hands and both parties go there separate ways. Like my uncle says, be careful of those city girls!
As a Fipino try to avoid picking up a girlfriend from a bar (ok for one night stand) and don't rush and I hope you're not like some foreigners that looking for a girl 25- 30 yeard old gap. Good luck.
Well I'm not interested in a girl who wants to get married and/or have kids, so I guess I should forget the Philippines, right? How about Thailand or Malaysia?
Yes. Most I believe will want to get married, but I’m sure you can find someone who doen’st want to get married or already has kids. I think that’s a global thing with most younger women.
@Carefree Chris Doesn't surprise me. Probably more than 95% of women worldwide want to get married and have kids. I'd guess that only about 60-70% of men want the same, and the rest probably just go along with what the woman wants so that they don't lose her. What do you think, Chris?
Hookup culture depends on the girl and location. In province it’s harder because everyone knows each other and everyone Chismis. Gossip. You need keep it very discrete. Girls will often say I’m shy but behind closed doors they are very freaky and willing to make you very happy as long as you not a creep and treat them well. People are afraid of bad gossip. If girl feels bad gossip won’t get out then they are more willing to participate. Many people have sex with multiple people outside of marriage. It’s all a front to save face. Phillipines is conservative in public to save face but behind closed doors many things happen.
Very true. I've heard this many times especially from locals or from folks who've lived here for decades and have a deeper understand of the culture. Thanks for sharing.
There are plenty of mid 30's to 40's on the dating sites that are very attractive women. You can expect most of them to have at least one kid, but if that is not an issue, you can raise your age limits and still have very good choices
Quite a contrast from the U.S. . People need to raise their personal standards from what they are accustomed to. Take an introspective inventory of their values.....or you will get a major correction and life lesson.
Yes. It's so different here. Incredibly friendly. I'm excited for my upcoming adventures in the new country. Take care there and thanks for watching. I really appreciate it
Thank you! Chris for elaborating my country is not a hook up culture, because a lot of Western Guys describe it, i live in Canada (a multicultural country but most of them they think we are always a Nanny) Please shout out to all that think this way.

One of the biggest advantages of leaving western countires like the US and Uk is that you can get away from hook up culture and find more traditional place with women who make excellent potential GFs and wives, but if you're looking for hook up culture than it could be a disavantage. In my personal experience I'd much rather have a long term relationship with a girl I'm really attracted to then a bunch of low quality hook ups. Most of the guys in the west i know who are invovled in hook up culuture are constantly lowering their standards and going home with girls they're barely attracted to.
I hear ya. What really surprised me though is when it came to being there in the moment, how apprehensive I was. Along the lines of fantasy vs reality. I'm still in that inquiry but thought it was interesting my reaction.
It's because many filipinos still have this misconception that foreigners, specifically those who are from the west, are rich. An average German or American will be financially well off compared to the average Filipino. Some would even joke that when a young filipina married an older foreign guy, they were finally able to have a better economic or financial status due to marrying a foreigner. Filipinas who have money would also go for fellow Filipinos who have money. Those who are at least middle class with white collar professions are probably too busy working to look for a foreigner since life in the Philippines isn't really that easy. These professional women are also usually in a relationship with their high school/college sweetheart or someone they met at work and are planning to marry in a few years time. There are also rich filipinas or middle class professionals who date foreigners but they won't go for those old guys who date younger women or sex tourists. They will go for foreigners who are close to their age and who are actually looking for a committed relationship.
Thank you for making it clear that the Philippines is where real men go for longterm relationships not cheap meaningless hookups. If you want hook ups go to Thailand.
Im not into casual sex, even when I was young. I am a one woman at a time man and I kind of need a woman to stay in the best health because I dont eat and exercise well, drink too much etc when I am alone. I was married to a good filapina from Cebu for 24 years who is a RN. We just grew apart and wanted different things but still good friends and help each out. I have been single now 4 years, dated a little but nothing serious. Currently chatting a 33 yr old (im 56) and she is very mature for her age. I have never dated a younger woman, mainly because they all want a baby and Im past that. She is a OFW in Saudi Arabi and we video chat 2 times per day. We will meet in Cebu in August and then on to Butuan City where she is from. She was the one to tell me upfront that she does not want a baby, which is totally different then the man saying it first. She said she had a daughter when she was young at age 17 and it made her life hard. Being around the filapino culture for 30 years and knowing hundreds of married couples and thousands of filapina that I work with as a RN I feel I have a leg up compared to most men going to philippines.

yes right! ive lived in Korea for 14.5 years and Japan for 4 years previous to that .. ive been to the Philippines many many times .. i love the Filipino people .. and there ARE many beautiful women there HOWEVER, the ratio of extremely attractive young women in Korea far exceeds that of the Philippines .. yes you can charge that this is just an opinion .. but if you've been to both countries it's very easy to argue this as an objective fact ..
you are one of the rarest expat that visied the Philippines who aren't after a girl, high respect to you sir.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
Yeah. I’m seeing more and more into the nature of the Filipina around dating and I’m really loving what I’m discovering
I appreciate that and thank you so much for watching. Amping:)
Do US guys have a bad reputation there now? I can imagine there are plenty who fly in and get what they want, maybe make some promises and leave.
I can tell that your parents have raised you well and instilled a very good moral values and respect in you. I fully respect your conservativeness. I’m now one of your subscribers.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. Hope you’re good there
The 4 Filipinas I've dated (in 3 yrs) have all been the nicest girls I've ever met! And yes, definitely not hook up culture, conservative morals, family values . They talk about God's will for their mate & are looking to get married quickly. They seem almost like they'll marry anyone, just to get married (if you saw me, you'd understand).
Just seems to me they care more about personality and makes them happy than looks
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
Sure he is ..
I see you soon then here in the Philippines:) lol Take care there and thanks again.
topic idea: How do you feel now about what you shipped from the US. What should you have shipped and what should you have left home. Talk more about the process and psych barriers you experienced in downsizing and what you would tell your year-ago self on this topic (I'm going through this now.)
Absolutely. Happy to help and since I went through this recently, it's still fresh. I'll shoot that and post here soon. Thank you for watching
Hi Chris, could you send me the link for the community group. That would be great.
I'll be visiting Davao for two weeks then Cebu.
I can’t send a link but it should be in all of my recent videos
Sorry for the delay
Heyyy Chris... Great post. I was in Cebu just before coming across your channel. (I may relocate there myself.) My girlfriend is half my age and I agree with you about the initial feeling that "this is wrong."
I have adjusted my own perspective.

@@CarefreeChris My pleasure. As an aside (for now) I come from the professional publishing world and am trying to think through how/whether to unite multiple vlogs for economic value and how to make content creation/cooperation part of a network to accelerate views/value and reduce repetition.
That's really useful depending on your and other's intentions.
nice skell you know so much about filipina and family culture here @chris , just remember younger girls be it filipina or not, are all looking for stability and security.. lastly, filipinas here arent conservative! dont be fooled!
Yeah, I would agree and consistent from what I’m hearing too
I love the view up there definitely going to check that place out perfectly suited for enjoying my cigars
crazy the amount of buildings that are being constructed over there. that place will probably look like a mini hongkong in the next 20 years
Yeah. Tons of construction in the area. I love that it's a healthy, growing city too. Good signs here in Cebu City
Chris,
I've been meaning to comment on your latest video.
God bless.
Thank you so much Jessica for watching and commenting. Hope things are good there in Texas.
What is sad? That Filipinas are willing to be with foreigners to escape poverty?
Sometimes..
Nice Joseph. Feel free to email me if you like. Happy to help out if i can
you will find your ideal lady in P.I. sir.

Take your time Chris be safe and enjoy, the right time will come if it meant to be.
Thank you. I’ve met so many gentlemen lately with the wrong expectations and the wrong approach that I had to make this video. nice vlog Chris.
Thank you so much James. I really appreciate it. Hope you get here soon:)

I live in Cebu City and IMO, after the second or third date the girl wants to move in with me. But I haven’t found the right girl yet. I am looking for someone who is a nurse, banker, business owner ect, 23-28 years old with no children.
I hear ya. I’m continually shocked on how we actually have dating options here
I don't think that it's going to be that easy because there's a big chance that these women are already in a long term relationship/engaged with their high school/college sweethearts or with someone they met at work etc.

Every guy needs to raise a daughter
Jan 2024 will be here fast brother. Take care there and thanks for watching.
I hear ya. Thanks MD Girl:)
15 years would be my cutoff. I'm the kind of guy that thinks long term, and the reality is a 60 year old is going to leave his 25 year old wife a widow in her 40's and probably alone for the rest of her life.
Hi Chris! My advice if you looking for relationships again take your time no rush and be careful.
So true
@@CarefreeChris let me know if you ready hahaha my niece looking for relationship hahaha.
You have annulments, be honest.
@@drachenmarke Yes, but very few people here can afford annulments.
its in the works right now actually......you'll have the same divorce laws as the west in 1-2 years, mark my words, the "younger" generations live and want to live like they're in LA or NY or MIami lol.....monogamy in itself is not that natural, but thats a story for another time ;)

Yeah. So true.
Good luck.
It certainly a different dating world here. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching. Really appreciate it.
Probably right and especially here with the family culture
Definitely a lot of options here in the Philippines
Good morning Chris . Be careful please
Yes. Good morning and thank you
Cebu is a bit disconnected, I've found....girls who arent actively seeking a foreigner are wary.
Agree and pretty shy
Quite a contrast from the U.S. . People need to raise their personal standards from what they are accustomed to. Take an introspective inventory of their values.....or you will get a major correction and life lesson.
Yes. It's so different here. Incredibly friendly. I'm excited for my upcoming adventures in the new country. Take care there and thanks for watching. I really appreciate it
Hey Chris. This just premiered. You've got to see it:
City of the Future | Clark : SMART CITY of the Philippines - ASEAN Analytics
Nice. Watching now. TY:)
@@CarefreeChris Awesome. Fyi, New Clark City's other purpose is also to greatly decongest Metro Manila.
Thank you! Chris for elaborating my country is not a hook up culture, because a lot of Western Guys describe it, i live in Canada (a multicultural country but most of them they think we are always a Nanny) Please shout out to all that think this way.
Yea. So many people have the wrong idea about what it’s like living here
Thanks for featuring Cebu there's so much to see here. Your right I believe 80% of Cebuano's women still conservative. 😊😊😊 enjoy your stay here
I actually really like the conservative nature. I'm similar. I didn't come here to date a lot but as i'm meeting other foreigners and hearing their stories I found it pretty fascinating and not what i expected
@@CarefreeChris being conservative is not bad not all, 😊it's good to know that there are still foreigners like you. Love your vlogs and I decided to subscribe looking forward to see more vlogs. You'll know more about Cebuano's in the long run if you stay longer here.😊😊
Thank you so much and I'm so honored to be here
@@CarefreeChris it's a pleasure Chris. Sooner or later you might like to learn our dialect 😁😁😁. Not quite sure if you noticed when Cebuano's gathered and talk sounds like birds chirping 😁😁. This is according to a friend of mind who also a foreigner lol 😊😊
80% talaga paano Naman kaming mga NASA province
Good stuff. New subscriber here
Welcome aboard!
Good video!
Thank you
You seem happy Chris 😊 I hope someday you'll find your beautiful Filipina 😍 ❤ good luck 🍀🤞 take and God bless 🙌
Thank you
2/3 of Phillipines population is under 35. 1/2 is under 25
Interesting stats
@@CarefreeChris you mentioned that you only seemed to be getting hit on by younger women. Most of the women in the Phillipines are under 35. Which means most of the men are too. Which I think helps you explain some of the attraction to older expats....that and they all think we are rich whether we are or not...😁
Ironically I'm going on a date tonight with a Filipina here in LA. She's super nice, humble and so accommodating. You can take the girl out of the Philippines but you can't take the Philippines out of the girl.
No worries man. Good luck there Brian:)
@@CarefreeChristhe girl I went out with tonight was such a total sweetheart, that I came back to change my comment, cuz I don't want to sound even 1% derogatory about Filipinas, they are like angels!
@@walkerskii if the Filipina was born in the Philippines and grew up in the Philippines and immigrated to US, she's ok but if she was born in the US. She'll be a typical american girl.
@@axizcorp perfectly said.
@@axizcorp let these boomers cope in peace man 😆
One of the biggest advantages of leaving western countires like the US and Uk is that you can get away from hook up culture and find more traditional place with women who make excellent potential GFs and wives, but if you're looking for hook up culture than it could be a disavantage. In my personal experience I'd much rather have a long term relationship with a girl I'm really attracted to then a bunch of low quality hook ups. Most of the guys in the west i know who are invovled in hook up culuture are constantly lowering their standards and going home with girls they're barely attracted to.
I agree and excited about the conservative side of the dating that i'm seeing here.
Younger, hotter, tighter is what men usually want. No shame in that. It’s basic biology
I hear ya. What really surprised me though is when it came to being there in the moment, how apprehensive I was. Along the lines of fantasy vs reality. I'm still in that inquiry but thought it was interesting my reaction.
After being there…why is it the only Filipinas who want to date a foreigner are the ones who don’t have money.
I'm still figuring out the dating scene here honestly. One day i think one thing and then another i'm thinking something else lol 🤪
I’m the the states and girls in their 20’s flirt with me, it’s not just in the Philippines. They’re more “exploring” at that age I think.
Thanks for watching
Thank you for making it clear that the Philippines is where real men go for longterm relationships not cheap meaningless hookups.
If you want hook ups go to Thailand.
Agree totally. Thank you for watching and commenting. I really appreciate it
Im not into casual sex, even when I was young.
Good for you brother. Hope August comes soon for you. Look me up in August if you have time. No worries if not. Take care there:)
@@CarefreeChris I am going to be staying at Clockwork Orange Luxury Suites. A very nice place for only $50 usd a night. Just for a week. I know thats high for phil but when compared to Hawaii which cost me $1000 a week its a bargain hehehe.
For sure and might as well be in a nice place you enjoy. 50 USD isn’t bad really. Good times
@@CarefreeChris when i get to Butuan city I will be renting a Air bnb for a few months for around $500 a month, shack up with my GF and see how well we get along. If its greenlight then get married and buy a home there. I dont like to rent. I bought my first home at age 21 and not use to landlords telling me what to do. yes I know it has to go into her name only but if I cant trust my wife who can I trust?
