They may cheat, but for some reason they don't know how to deal with horizontal walls. They'll generally try to walk through it if you're on the other side (and fail, because they're zombies, not ghosts), and the few that do get around you can easily pick off. It's a bit cheesy, and you may have to slip past the horde after the siege (or just... kill them a few at a time, whichever you'd rather), but it does work. I've gotten through a Deadlier Road version of the Mall of the Dead and lived to tell the tale. (I don't think I lost anyone, either.)

Had a character with the charmer perk (who was a gungeoneer) and a clown who played a little music box. We were out of food, and the car was starting to run low on gas. The Gungeoneer only had 1 HP left. The gungeoneer had a surprisingly low shooting stat for a supposed "gungeoneer". So the Clown plays the music box and then disappears. The stats say the swarm is aggressive and it's late night, sardine packed. Then I got the Day of the Circus Achievement, and then I heard this song. Not that many zombies (for a claim of "sardine packed", literally only 6 of them) at first, but the next thing I know *THEY'RE DROPPING FROM THE DAMN CEILING WHAT THE HELL?!?* I ran out of ammo and quickly got surrounded...then got game over.

Yeah, suppposedly...rest stop as in the location name? Because we only ran into 1 of those. And the gungeoneer didn't make anything. (Then again, all we had was a flashlight and an aluminum bat...) I ran into a moose and wanted to help heal its wounds despite having no medical supplies. I had bad luck on that run, only found 2 trader sites, one that had nothing I needed, and one that was on fire (and with only one salesperson.) I had ran out of food before the 2nd one and the salesguy chewed me out for not having food. Right after he finished chewing me out, zombies were swarming like crazy as if to say "Did someone say food?" And the guy started shooting like crazy, the clown took 2 damage, it was that packed my the time we made it to the car. For the seige, it didn't help that I was in a small room. Seriously, I'd expect them popping up from the ground, but the ceiling?!? I know it's a game that's a Zombie Survival/Beat-em-up/Action/RPG/Roguelike hybrid, but even for a hybrid of 5 genres, that's not fair
yeah trader camp whatever theyre called now. there's a trader that sells guns, and if you have the gungineer, it adds more options, liek the gatling gun and one i forget the name to,but it is a huge gun
Had the Anime Girl (Used to be Shield of Hope x Anime Fan) step into the machines at her 4th stage in the Ominous Labs. My plan was to get her to turn into a dog so she could drop her lovely wand and one of my party members could pick it up. Unfortunately, I didn't know there was other possible effects. Instead, her head just floated off her body. I then sacrificed her to the zombies.
2 more Driving Days until Canda!!! Mode: Rare Extreme Current Party: Mason (turned into dog), Governor-Emperor (half-skeleton), Giga Guy, G*rf. (Car runs out of gas) G*rf stubs toe, left with one health. X0 to red flashing X0. Monday Siege Begins. Mason dies during the siege. Mason returns from the dead, Giga Guy left the team. (This was especially upsetting, as he is one of the most overpowered Rare Characters in the game, infinite ammo with no cooldown) Governor Emperor steals all of the food. G*rf gets crippling tooth pain and tries to force it out. G*rf dies. (Didn't play again for a week.) EDIT: If the Monday Siege happens while G*rf is alone, he actually becomes a Monday, and gives up on the journey to Canada.

You can also pick up items from your trunk, but that's impossible during sieges and that. Plus, you need to be able to have the time and space to run to the back of your car, get stuff, and head out.
