You can hear the ATRAC working when the right rear tire starts to spin. The ABS starts to slow down the tire that's spinning so the other side can have traction as well. Excellent ATRAC demonstration
@seacuracao No, the New 4runner is not only 2wheel drive. They have 4x4 version of the SR5 and the Limited, but the one everyone wants is the trail edition which are only 4x4.
I have ridden in a 4 runner and I love the feel and power of it when we went off roading . I also love how comfortable it rides on the street. I just never bought one because the body looks so dull. Like a grandma's station wagon thats higher up. I wish it had a better body design.

From what I see. This is probably a 06-up model 4runner. Looks to be V6 because there's no V8 badge on the front grill and it's just a SR5 model. Looks like there's a 2" lift also. Fronts looks higher than stock. And good tires does helps. I have a 03 4runner V8 and would love to do this soon.

To Smooth Operator , I have 03 V8, over 300k miles now, I had to replace alternator at 250k and transmission wire at 300k, total cost around $250 installed myself. Apart from those few things everything is still original and works as if car had 0 miles (obviously suspension parts like shocks are worn but still original and work), I go with this car anywhere in the country and do some heavy (relatively speaking it is only rated at 7k) towing as well for what it is, even pulled tree stumps years ago (bad idea but nothing broke).

The old ones are the hot looking. First gen was sloppy, but that's why is was so good. Second gen, only the first two years looked good. After that, all the 4Runners just look generic.
