As a RN of 45 years, we were taught about people who were born with both sex organs. However for those, the physician Always recommended to the parents to allow the child to grow and DEVELOP past puberty b4 deciding on sex changes. And the reason for this was bc kids grow n2 teenagers. Teenagers deal with a great many hormonal changes and may be confused as to who and what they really and truly are "feeling". However by the time they reach adulthood those hormones are pretty much set so they are now "settled" in their true sexuality. Many found that the sexual identity crisis that they faced was just a passing phase a no sex change was suggested as an alternative. We found also that the number of children that experienced this was NOT the great number that they are posting today. We have noted as well that the people that push "this agenda" ARE NOT and WILL NOT discuss the GREAT NUMBER of kids who are DE-TRANSITIONING bc they realized that they were going through "puberty change" and made a mistake.....Long story short, this "phenomenon" has become a business and has nothing at all to do with the child or what's n the child's best interest. They're not discussing the what's involved regarding the actual procedure, which is nothing less than barbarick in my opinion. Especially when the girl is transitioning to the male and they have to take large chunks of skin from the thigh or arm to construct a penis. We should tread very carefully here. Very carefully.
