Always wonderful - and the only comparison I can think of was when Hibernian supporters sang "Sunshine on Leith" (The Proclaimers Ballard) after the 2016 Scottish Cup final. Passion.
Australian most of them are but they are all LIVERPOOL FANS that's what is amazing but we have millions of fans worldwide. Another YNWA which will give you chills is Liverpool Vs Celtic ( Scottish team)
A lot of ex poms live in Australia and no doubt quite a few of them would have travelled from all around the country just to watch Liverpool play. There were also a large number of travelling Liverpool fans along with the Victory supporters in that crowd. I suggest plenty of Aussies would be familiar with that song from Liverpool matches but the English premier League although it has a following here it is not as popular as other codes such as AFL or NRL Still that atmoshere at the MCG was electric and I'm sure everyone that was there would have been caught up in it Aussies just love to be part of a spectacle.
The song is from a musical Carousel, "You'll Never Walk Alone" is a show tune from the 1945 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Carousel. In the second act of the musical, Nettie Fowler, the cousin of the protagonist Julie Jordan, sings "You'll Never Walk Alone" to comfort and encourage Julie when her husband, Billy Bigelow, the male lead, stabs himself
Incredible
with liverpool f.c this is our hymn, football is our religion. this means more.
Love Liverpool FC great choice, thank you. If I recall right its a hymn that the club adopted just beautiful.

I wish I was standing outside the G to hear this. I think I was in Melbourne that night.
You’ll never walk alone was originally from the musical carousel, but made famous by Gerry and the pacemakers.
