So, basically they're trapped. Although, I'm still wondering if there are any civilizations in any other countries or have they all been bombed by the US. Honestly, that wouldn't surprise me considering how trigger happy we always are. 😑
• the government of panem heavily restricts travel even between districts, I doubt they would allow anyone to leave the country • Katniss would likely have very little, if any, education on Asia and how she would travel there, let alone discretely • there is no confirmation on the existence of any surviving land mass outside of North America
