Are your selector-switch positions labeled in the reverse order in the video? I thought that, for a Strat switch, they are: Position 1: Bridge pickup only Position 2: Bridge pickup and middle pickup together Position 3: Middle pickup only Position 4. Middle pickup and neck pickup together Position 5: Neck pickup only Also, my 2023 S7 has a coil-tap, not coil-split, push-pull tone knob.
Sorry, yeah, I labeled them backwards… 1 = neck…etc. my tone and volume knobs are also reversed. I emailed sire to make sure I didn’t get a Frankenstein version or a returned guitar.
@cleverdood I have a G&L S-500 with MFD pickups that I love... and several Tele-type guitars... I need to play one to see if it is more of the same or a different brush altogether

Looking hard at an S7. I don't need another guitar... but I'm weakening...
Not like you’d need encouragement but man I love this thing
